Opening day/ who is going and where? (1 Viewer)

prosopis

Arizona Chupacabra
I will be at Chase tomorrow for Cardinals @ Dbacks. Wainwright/Kennedy

Heading up right after work. Hoping to get there early enough to enjoy the whole opening day atmosphere. There is nothing better. Diamondbacks have Brandon Webb throwing the first ceremonial pitch. Nice move by the club but kind of sad as well. Webby was one of my favorite players. Sad to see it end.

I'm going to Toronto Tuesday. Paid near triple face value to get outfield seats. I've gone each of the last 6 seasons but in every past year you could get tickets by being online the day they went on sale. This year they were basically all sold through season tickets, flex packs and group purchases (which of course the scalpers use to load up).

I'm not a big fan of Rogers Centre but it's a decent atmosphere as long as either there's a lot of people there or the roof is open. The roof will be closed on Tuesday but it will be packed full of Jays fans!

Going to the Orioles on Friday, mostly for the pregame party.
I'll be there too. The Pre-party has gotten out of hand around Pickles. I'm more going for the game. Section 82 front row. Very excited, especially if the rain holds off.
I'll be about two blocks away at a friends house. He throws a big pregame, but I am 50/50 on actually going to the game. basically last minute upper cheapy or nothing as I refuse to pay more than $20 to see the Orioles play someone other than the Tigers.

The Twins open at home for the first time in awhile. If someone gave me free tickets and dropped me off at the gate, I wouldnt go. Watching baseball with the temps in the low 30s doesnt appeal to me at all.

Not going to the Pirates-Cubs game at PNC but whoever does better bundle up. The weather in PIttsburgh today is brutal for baseball: high of 41 with 15 MPH winds. It was actually warmer this morning at 7:00 when I went to work than it is now. It is actually snowing as I type...

Wifey on way to the Cell for Sux oppener(hope they don't die).....then Hawks game tonight

Anywhere to watch games on-line for the free?

Just think of it as a outdoor Vikings game, or PACK game. It be fun. GO TWINS

Question here, as I mentioned, I bought tickets to the game from StubHub. Just now I got an email from BlueJays.com, saying I was going to the game and giving me the probable pitchers, etc... My question is, how do they know I'm going to the game when I bought them through StubHub, are the Jays selling them through there themselves while saying they're all sold out?

I had a great opening night at Chase field. Weather was perfect. Kennedy looked strong and AJ Pollock had a GAME!!!!!!!

Nice to get a win on opening night.

Just got back from LA for Opening Day at Dodgers Stadium. Awesome place to watch the game and the new scoreboards are pretty nice. Cool moment with Koufax throwing out the first pitch. Great game and crowd. Only problem were the lines for the concessions on the Upper Deck and the beer prices were just as bad as Yankee Stadium.

Went to the Mariner's stadium for their open house even though the game was in Oakland. They were showing the game on their new big screen that is the biggest in baseball now. Got to sit wherever you wanted in the stadium, walk along the new outfield wall and checked out a new bar in the left field corner of the stadium, Edgar's Cantina. Was a real cool experience. Love going to Safeco, even when there isn't a game going on.
