Georgia TE Orson Charles was arrested Friday morning and charged with DUI in Clarke County, GA.

The first-team All-SEC tight end was the No. 1 prospect at his position, according to NFL Network's Mike Mayock. Although underwhelming at Georgia's Pro Day early this week, Charles was still expected to push Stanford's Coby Fleener as the first tight end off the board next month. The DUI makes Charles a much riskier pick.

It's always one or more of these kids that has a brain fart between the end of the college season and the draft, which is arguably the most important period of time for their future earnings potential in their lives. For how much money they have at stake, the ones that lack any semblance of common sense should simply hire a babysitter at $10K per month for January through April to ensure they don't hit the weed, drive drunk, or beat their girlfriend. It really is unreal.

sigh...I saw this on twitter earlier. As many of you were saying, what is this kid doing ... a few months away from the most important day in his life.

Don't know anything about this guy but I do know that Aaron Hernandez was a mid-late first round talent but fell to the 4th because of the wacky tobaccy. Same type of talent?

After posting a 4.90 40 time at his pro day, this guy shouldn't be driving anywhere. He should be running.
Wow, hadn't heard that and I'm shocked. He's definitely faster than that time suggests. This is why I was arguing in the combine thread that players should always run in Indy so they get two chances at it.
