Norm Chow has used the TE extensively over his last two years. In 2005 TE's caught 149 balls. Bo Scaife caught more balls last year than anyone currently on the TEN roster.
 Scaife is the goods. Daniels is a slug who is falsely over-rated due to this year's meaningless pre-season games.

After Matt Schaub hit TE Owen Daniels for 45 yards on three catches at Arizona, he told the Houston Chronicle that he's going to have an eye for Daniels this season. "I've always liked throwing to my tight ends," Schaub said. "They can be an incredible asset in the middle of the field. It keeps the safeties back and helps open up the running game."
I am going with Daniels here. I like his rookie performance. I like the lack of a #2 WR. I am becoming a huge Schaub fan (I don't own him in any leagues though). But the thing that pushes this over edge for me is Kubiak. The former Broncos OC knows how to use the TE effectively. Daniels and Daniels owners should benefit.
I have no problem with you liking Daniels more as a player, but you are not applying the reasoning to both sides. Tennessee doesn't even have a wr1 let alone a wr2. Andre Johnson is far superior to anyone that TEN has catching the ball. Secondly, Norm Chow has used the TE extensively over his last two years. In 2005 TE's caught 149 balls. Bo Scaife caught more balls last year than anyone currently on the TEN roster.
I think the fact that Andre is there ups the value of Daniels give that it may open up the middle more for better passing lanes. Scaife may have more trouble finding room.

This is ignorant analysis, considering that Daniels had more receptions (34 to 29) and twice as many TDs (5 to 2) as Scaife last year. In fact, Daniels had more TDs last year than Scaife has had in the last two years.

Daniels value is increasing alot of the past couple of weeks.

Did a 14 team $$ Dynasty draft back in May I took Owen in mid 18th rd... I was happy, couple of owners said "Nice Pick"

Did a 14 team $$ Dynasty couple of weeks ago and I took H Miller in mid 12th rd... Owen was 3 picks later; I thought that this was simply an owner pressing the panic button.

Did my 12 team $$ Auction Dynasty league, Miller went for $4, Owen went for $3.

Did a 12 team $$ Redraft Owen went a round earlier than Miller. I was shocked.

I'm starting to think SELL HIGH

Daniels has just about tripled Scaife's point output through four games for Tennessee (five games for Houston). Most of that is due to the fact that Young is still incredibly horrible throwing the ball, and also because A.J. has been out for the Texans. Daniels is piling up MAD yardage, but it would be nice if someone could point him towards the end zone now and then.
