Wasn't Charles Sharon supposed to start today? He certainly has been running first team this week.

Funny how Reggie Williams gets more action in this game. Just another twist to the musical chairs in jax.

I'll eat my words on Wilford- the progression he has made since week 1 of camp has been astronomical. He's finally catching the balls he is supposed to and has already established himself as a viable jump/red-zone guy. I hope he continues to progress and think he could be a viable play this year.

 
Side note: anyone else noticing that players helmets are flying off like no tomorrow this preseason? Mostly it's the guys with dreadlocks but I seem to be seeing it quite a bit more than usual.

Honestly, I haven't seen enough of him in short yardage situations to make an objective assessment, but so far in this game "great" isn't the word that comes to mind.

Podlesh hasn't been doing so hot thus far. After seeing Sepuldeva do just fine thus far, its of concern that he's not placing kicks as he should. He should be placing more within the 20. I believe he has the lowest % of punts within the 20 thus far.

Hope he pulls it together.

:bag:Probably just a little overwhelmed right now. I think that can happen to rookies because they have to "over think" about all the formations and responsibilities that when they get the ball in a situation where they should just use instinct, they start worrying about whether they're supposed to remember something about the play. Like where a WR will be to block for them or whether a FB is in the play or stupid stuff like that. Hopefully he'll get over it.
 
Jags passing has been horrible. I have never seen what you guys do in Leftwich.

Sideline pass to Northcutt then almost identical play to Wilford. that's it.

Oh wait and Leftwich led Reggie into the defender

It is all slot work. Green Bush running a lot of 3 WR which is probobly thier best personel package.Drive that went well mixed personel up with TE packages. Both Franks and Lee had 20+ yard catches on seam patterns after running a lot of drags with the WRs leading up to that.Not sure if its Cousin or who but Jones getting the 3rd corner or safety for sure. Starting corners have been on Driver and Jennings.
 
I'm catchign up with Tivo but that Reggie Williams catch and Bishop hit might have been the best play on both sides of the ball I've seen in a while. Wow.

Biggest hit I've seen this year. And unbelievable catch.

remember when Farve went down last year and Rodgers lasted all of 2 plays? Wouldn't handcuff this guy if you paid me.

No I think Garrard is a fine backup. Well he may be better....I don't know, he's a backup IMO. I have thought for a few years now that if they sign a good QB they are winning+in the playoffs
