So I was curious (as I always am when we start getting down to a low number of winless or undefeated teams) when the latest match-up of 0-x teams would be this year. Turns out it won't be too long. With the Bills playing neither the 49ers or Panthers this year, the Week 7 showdown between Carolina and San Francisco is the latest possible battle of winless teams this year. Carolina will be 0-5 going into the game and if the 49ers lose to the Raiders next week they will be 0-6.
I'm curious when the last time two teams that combined for 0-11 met. I seem to recall that about 25 years ago the Colts and Bills met when they were a combined 3-27 on the last week of the season. Anybody know?
