Bounty or Brawny

Somehow I knew this was going to be an Otis parody before I even opened the thread.

And for the record, Sparkle paper towels are the best. I will ####### knife anyone who says differently.

For what it's worth, I do an experiment with my students every year comparing 4 brands of paper towels. We test absorption and strength against cost. I use Brawny vs. Bounty vs. Viva vs. generic brand. Viva always wins.

How do they stack up if you do not factor in cost?

They dominate in both strength and absorption. We take equal measurements of each type of towel and pour an equal amount of water onto their center and see how much weight they can hold before tearing through. Viva usually almost doubles the next highest one. As for absorption we pour equal amounts of fluid into a measuring containers, put equal amounts of each towel into the containers for equal amounts of time and then see how much fluid is left afterward. Viva always dominates this as well.

In two years, Otis will use this info to pick his paper towel and mock others for picking anything else.

They're also the softest by far. Had the hospital suggest using it along with water to clean the newborn's bottom. Still use them today.
