Yeah, we need stability right now, and some credibility to FAs that we're serious about building a winner. That's happens when parcells signs. I've waffled back and forth between Marty and Singletary as my 2nd choice behind Cowher, who isn't biting.

Regardless of how the Parcells thing works out McKay leaving is a big plus. Petrino was his guy and so was Mora.

He hired Dungy, but didn't hire Gruden. In fact, Gruden is the reason why he left Tampa Bay in the first place. McKay wanted Marvin Lewis, which would've been a mistake (see Cincinnati).

The owner fired him with a strong desire for an offensive minded coach, which was the correct move seeing that the Bucs won the Superbowl and have made the playoffs a few times since.
