Pat Boone Nails It (1 Viewer)

That's the worst list ever. You have slipped so far jim11, like watching Manning throwing ducks yesterday do you realize it has passed you by?
Could you be more general in your critique? BTW, English grammar seems to have passed you by.
Your trolling skills are so bad now, just mailing it in these days. You used to be so much better, mate.

"Pat Boone Nails It" WTF?
Consistent in your bad grammar...I'll give you that.

Jim is now a senior. Maybe age has dulled his keen mind. :hophead:
Yuck, yuck. You're so darn witty. Oddly, all you & your ilk can do is "poke fun". Nobody can actually dispute Mr. Boone's observations.

Can you let me know when Neil Sedaka weighs in? Maybe Paul Anka.

Doubt Jimmy will quote Neil Sedaka, as Neil did probably one of the best pro-immigration songs ever:

"There was a time when strangers were welcome here"

Neil Sedaka - The Immigrant (dedicated to John Lennon).

Harbors open their arms to the young searching foreigner

Come to live in the light of the beacon of liberty

Plains and open skies bill boards would advertise

Was it anything like that when you arrived?

Dream boats carried the future to the heart of America

People were waiting in line for a place by the river

It was a time when strangers were welcome here

Music would play they tell me the days were sweet and clear

It was a sweeter tune and there was so much room

That people could come from everywhere

Now he arrives with his hopes and his heart set on miracles

Come to marry his fortune with a hand full of promises

To find they've closed the door they don't want him anymore

There isn't anymore to go around

Turning away he remembers he once heard a legend

That spoke of a mystical magical land called America

There was a time when strangers were welcome here

Music would play they tell me the days were sweet and clear

It was a sweeter tune and there was so much room

That people could come from everywhere

There was a time when strangers were welcome here

Whoa. Just pulled out a name from the 50's. Neil was preaching back in the day!

Not preaching in the 50's or 60's. This was from about 1974/1975 when Sedaka made his comeback on Elton John's Rocket Records with "Laughter In The Rain" (about the same time, The Captain and Tenille had a hit with a cover of his "Love Will Keep Us Together"). "The Immigrant" was released after this and it charted (and got a lot of airplay) but was not a hit.

Here is live clip from 1980:
