Worst of all is that he was drafted way ahead of his ADP. He was the 44th pick, which is at least 1 to 2 rounds earlier than any mock had him going. Parcells may have been influenced by Dan Henning's infatuation with the wildcat.
Sean Smith, the other second rounder from 2009 is looking shaky, but he still might turn out OK. Patrick Turner, the 3rd rounder, was also cut. At least CB Vontae David (1st round), WR Brian Hartline (4th round), S Chris Clemons (5th round) and G Andrew Gardner (6th round) will start or contribute.
