I got him very late in my draft hoping on a new team he would be re-energized and wreaking havoc....1st two games he does have a sack but only 1 solo.....This Monday I'm going to bench him vs. Green Bay and after that....maybe ship him out....thoughts?
This is not the week to bench him. Aaron Rodgers gets sacked a ton. Start him with confidence this week. I ahve had Peppers for several years and his production is not very consistent week to week.

I have no idea how anyone can say Rodgers gets sacked a ton. Sure, he did the first half of 09 when the O-line was a mess, but not now. Rodgers was sacked exactly zero times last week. Granted that was against the Bills. In week 1 with the team that probably blitzes the most in the NFL (Philly), Rodgers was sacked 3 times. If I had to put an over under on Chicago sacks it would be 1 1/2 this week. I'd probably bet the under. With Briggs or Urlacher getting the sack. Chicago's D-line didn't do much in Dallas last week, and I expect that to continue. I love Peppers talent, but the roller coaster ride is a killer for fantasy owners. He has the talent to go off for 3 sacks in any given week, but your better off playing the lottery than picking the week. If your a fantasy owner that likes consistency, then look elsewhere. If you like to swing for the fences with little regard to the possibility of a goose egg, then Peppers is your guy.
Same boat here. Dockett is on our waiver wire and is playing oakland but I just know the minute I bench Peppers (especially on a monday night) he will explode!!!
There's a reason the Panthers did not sign him to a big new deal, deciding instead to franshise him(i.e. make him work for the $) the last 2 seasons. Now that Peppers has gotten his big multi-year payday, he will go the way of "Haynesworthesque" work ethic and production. That's just the kinda guy he is.
Peppers is an odd cat, and I can't say he's never taken a play off, but the Haynesworth comparison don't ring true to me.Congrats on trying to use 117 Scrabble Tiles for one word though.
