Patrick Crayton a sneaky week 5 play if Jackson is out or limited?

Patrick Crayton had five catches for 47 yards in Sunday's win over the Chiefs.

Crayton racked up seven targets with Malcom Floyd (groin) limited.

Updating previous items, the injury that caused Vincent Jackson to miss practice Wednesday is being called a hamstring ailment by the Chargers.

According to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune, there is "concern" at team headquarters about how much Jackson will be able to play in Week 5 at Denver, and "how strong he'll be." Acee acknowledges that it's still early in the week and things can change day to day. Jackson previously battled an abdominal injury that led to a "leg muscle strain," as the Chargers characterized it initially. The strained muscle is Jackson's hamstring.

No Gates Week 5

Floyd still not 100% healthy.

Dodds has:

Jackson @22

Floyd @ 64

Crayton @69

I could see Crayton having a nice game if Jackson sits. Champ Bailey is back and should cover Floyd, giving Rivers more of a reason to target Crayton. Could be looking at 10 targets

More than anything I would expect a heavy dose of Mathews / Tolbert. Don't forget Vincent Brown is also in the mix.
