**Patriots at 49'ers** (-10.5, 40.5) 4:05 (1 Viewer)

As of now, it appears NE's starting LT will be Demontrey Jacobs, who NE signed off of the Broncos practice squad. He saw the first 14 snaps of his career against the Jets last week and allowed a sack. Seems like the perfect guy to roll out there to stop Nick Bosa.

Patriots give a good effort every week.
It won't translate to much this week...

Niners Mash Unit- 37
Foxborough Foxies- 13

My rule on Inter-Conference Blowouts! or at least Vegas would have you believe...
Usually you take the points in these games not to mention the Patriots won on the road week 1, almost won week 2 before they were thoroughly exposed vs the Jets
Teams out of conference usually are not familiar with each other and so you end up getting a much closer game than many expect or a back door cover on a 10.5 pt spread

San Fran 24...New England 14
Pats +10.5 would be the play here, most will want to lay the points

Is this the first double-digit spread of the season?
Good question, not quite sure but it's the 1st I can think of where we had a lopsided inter-conference game with a double digit spread, only reason I mentioned it.
There will be a few of these this season, usually the underdogs prevail over an entire season rather than just 1 week but this is what we have,

Niners have got to be frustrated after losing last week, had a 21-7 lead in the 2nd Half and blew it.
I would think they would be out for some revenge this week on anybody
Would a 34-7 Niners win really shock people? I doubt it
Maye getting involved in the 2nd Half and maybe backdoor covering the spread, that's a possibility as well

Preseason futures had SF as the likely NFC Super Bowl rep and NE as most likely for the first pick of the 2025 draft.

Neither of those look like particularly good bets today.

That’s why this is a tough one to bet.

49ers injury updates:

TE George Kittle (ribs) is questionable.
LT Fred Warner (ankle) is questionable.
DT Jordan Elliott (knee) is questionable.
