Patriots beat Giants for the 2nd time this season 23-7 (1 Viewer)

This was taken from another forum but found it interesting:

At the beginning of the movie there's a cable news interview and there's an item on the crawl saying the Patriots beat the Giants for the second time in the 2009 season 23-7.

Now, this was intended for the 2009 season, but the coincidence is pretty neat. So, does that mean the Giants win today? Hmmmmm

But the ticker never mentioned it was the Super bowl which means it's a sub par ticker.
Since the Pats are in the AFC and the Giants are in the NFC, the only way they'd face twice in a season would be in the Super Bowl.
Not true.Why you ask?Pre-season and then regular season.Which by the way happen.week 5 of preseasonNYG (1-3) 7 0 3 10 20 NWE (2-2) 3 7 7 10 27 Finaland of course week 17NWE-38NYG-35.So they were correct. Therefor NE will play GB in Arizona in 2008. :coffee:

This reminded me of the Back to the Future sceen where the billboard says the Cubs beat Miami in the world series. Before the Marlins existed.Which was cool. I took it on I am Legend to mean they were in the same division (just my take)

of course they would have to play in the superbowl to play twice in one regular season. But I expect a half decent ticker to say the Patriots win the Super Bowl.
