Pats/Rams (1 Viewer)

Bradford's recievers have helped him quite a bit tonight. Some of these balls that these guys are coming down with should not be caught. He looks very poised out there though and that's what I really want to see in a rookie QB in third pre season games.

I am very impressed with the play of Brady Fletcher. Moss can't seperate at all and the kid got the PD the only time Moss had a chance. Moss looks frustrated.

What game are you watching? Yes, He had the TE make a nice one handed catch. Did you see the beautiful pass Robinson dropped for 20+ yards over the middle? Another pass goes through the hands of the TE. If anything his receivers aren't doing all the can.

Gronkowski with one of the more entertaining touchdowns you'll see. Caught by the leg at the five yard line, he literally hops two and a half forward before falling forward, holding himself up with his hand, stretching out to put the ball on the goal line.

Avery knee injury. Not good.

Probably gonna require cart. Don't want to jump the gun but wouldn't shock me to be season-ending.

FINAL EDIT: After reply, def. ACL or MCL. The way he grabbed the knee ... well, let's just say as a Pats fan, I've seen that grab two too many times.

Donnie Avery down for an extended time clutching his knee. Not looking good for him. Cameras focusing on Welker while the trainers look at Avery.

McCourty with a very nice pass defense on the play poked the ball away at the last second with his hand; Avery fell while running.

Taken off on the cart. Yeah, Spags that's probably your job right there. Probably a lame duck anyway with a new owner but this can't help...

Hate to be a vulture here, but do we bump L. Robinson up the draft boards with the Avery injury? Does any WR have value in this Ram offense?

Bradford had almost 200 passing yards and 2 TD in the first half. One would think that there would be some receiving options if he could be that effective.

Agreed, but not watching the game. Any other WR looking decent? Seems like the TE Hoomanawanooiamdoshokulicomo is having a nice half.

Amendola had a decent half (5-50). Robinson ran a nice route and was wide open but dropped a 25+ yarder down the seam and also had an easy 20 yard TD but was just out of bounds. So instead he had nothing in the first half but easily could have had 12 fantasy points.

Bradford has looked great, gotta give him props where its due...

Again, Pats offensive playcalling on the first 3 series for the Pats was abominable. 3 and out each time, shotgun on each 1st down.

Is anyone having flash backs of last year? I had deja vu sitting on the couch screaming RUN THE BALL!!! Defense must have been dog tired that first half. Also, can they get some pressure on Bradford?!?!?!

I would not be too concerned, as NE plays a rotation of stock plays on both offense and defense. They don't really use plays or schemes they use in the regular season. That being said, the defense looks like they would struggle to stop a decent college team and the offense for most of the half looked flat no matter what plays were called.

If the Rams o-line stays healthy, they can dominate. Most people don't have a clue how good they can be. Injuries have had the Rams signing guys off the the street the past couple years. If all 5 starters stay healthy and Sjax, Bradford is going to have a huge year.

easy there don't get too excited

Seeing Welker running down the field is a beautiful thing.
I heard on Sirius that Welker was told that he is no more of an injury risk to his knee than any other healthy player. Between this and him looking good two weeks in a row are we safe to assume that he should pick up where he left off last year?

Agreed. They may be in line for three to four wins this season!

I loved all the Hernandez hype, Gronk was sliding into the 4th round of my rookie drafts while Hernandez was going in the 2nd.

Put down that pipe and slowly step away.

I am beginning to think this will be a typical Pats game. The defense won't be able to stop many teams and the offense will have to keep passing all game long for shootouts.
