“Pawn Stars” and porn pics apparently don’t mix.

Gold and Silver Pawn Shop employee Olivia Black was reportedly fired from the store after nude photos of her surfaced online.

“Well s**t....I was just fired,” the 27-year-old posted on Facebook.

Black then posted a link to a Radar Online article about her dismissal that states her firing came after photos were printed in the National Enquirer that revealed her racy past. Black reportedly worked for the soft-core porn website SuicideGirls.com back in 2008 before she started working at the pawn shop about a year ago.

But it seems she has no hard feelings toward her former coworkers.

“Nay, sadly this is not a joke....I no longer work for Gold and Silver Pawn Shop, it has been a whirlwind of a year, and now I must move on,” she wrote on Facebook. “Just as simple as downsizing. It is of no fault of the guys. I still adore my bosses fully!!!”

Now, she seems to be moving on.

“The tear have dried and the smiles have returned, I'm fortunate to have worked for ‘Pawn Stars’ at all,” she tweeted Wednesday.

A&E Networks had no comment on Black's dismissal.

Pretty lame for a shop to cash in on the "Pawn Stars" word play and fire a young lady for being a former porn star (though "star" isn't accurate). I'm assuming the firing had more to do with her lying about it than the fact itself, but it's still a little unseemly.

I think we need a trip report of someone going into her bookstore and seeing if she's there and what it's like. I've been to the Gold & Silver pawn shop. None of the main guys were there (and I hear they usually aren't, at least not out front helping customers). I did see an employee who has appeared on the show a couple times, most prominently when he knew something about Nascar. There were some interesting items around, including some stuff from the show like the senate chair used by McCarran. I bought a T-shirt.

I'm in a fantasy league with Jeremy - the guy Rick brings in to authenticate sports memorabilia, and he told me that going into the show, he assumed Rick looked everything up. But it turns out he really does know a lot, and that apparently has helped him in being successful in the business.

Explain to me why framing A. costs so damn much and B. why they can't do it themselves.

I mean, do professional framers get their calling from their school guidance counselor? "Alright Bobby, after looking over your profile, I think the best career path for you would be Professional Framing. You can get a degree for that in any SEC school."

Considering that they're usually negotiating something in the $500 range when he brings up that issue, there's half his profit gone in getting the frame made. It's not much of a do-it-yourself job... I don't think you want Chumlee cutting glass. Plus cutting mat boards that look good takes some practice.

I usually give this show a break, since it's just tv entertainment, but I saw a segment the other day that was ridiculous.

They drove an hour to look at a '37 Oldsmobile, then after the cursory look over called their car expert guy to come take a look. I guess we're supposed to believe they waited around for an hour until he showed up? It was even worse since they had already seen a flyer with pictures and details, so they more or less knew what they were about to see. Just moronic.

I don't know if Rick quit smoking, or he was made aware of how grating his phlegm rattling is and stopped, but he seems to have calmed that a bit this current season. (Although tonight he did drop an extended wheeze when his Steve McQueen car sold at auction for 80K).

Corey really needs to work on how he delivers his scripted lines--it's like he's not even trying.

I just fast-forward to the items. That gun that shot Jesse James last week was an annoying item, though. Never seen such an obviously not real item on the show. When a guy will take $20k for something that would be worth a million if it were real, you know even he doesn't believe it.

I dunno how much they pay residuals, or even if they have a flat fee to appear on the show, but I find the costs of their purchases from most private individuals bogus anyway. The setup is to make them smarter about the Pawn business than those who even know the valuables and collectors markets. Seriously, nobody really trades vintage or collectible via Pawn Shop. Nobody trades serious Art either. But they do expose the items that are with a bit of history behind it.

The items are what really grab me too. The other reality stuff I just tolerate, along with the scripted stuff that is far from reality. Well, outside of Olivia. She is hot as ballz.

New season is just painful. Chumlee suddenly appears in the opening credits. Their acting has gotten worse and it appears Chumlee is operating in such a way that people see him as a smart guy playing a dumb guy.

There was one recent episode where the guy brought in an item already framed. When negotiating he mentioned the nice framing and how they wouldn't have to pay for that. One of the shop employees countered that framing only cost them $50.

I have lots and lots of original artwork... wherever I travel, I buy something... usually several items by local artists to remind me of my travels... oils, watercolors, and photos, usually. I buy unframed and then come back home for framing. With museum glass and matting and everything else... frames usually go $500 per piece, on average.
