Pawn Stars on History Channel (2 Viewers)

Net worth:

Rick- 8M

Corey- 2.5M

Chumlee- 5M

not bad
How does Chumlee have so much more money than Corey
Great question. When I saw that, after double checking, I assumed Corey probably should be a little below Rick, but that he blew through about 4 million somehow. Drugs, pros, gambling, designer tattoos, subway sandwiches.. who
Odd that Corey is less than Chum as well... I can see Chum gettin asked and paid to more appearances... and maybe a book deal too..

Customer: "Gimme a Bud light."

Corey: "That'll be $3.50, man."

Customer: "I"m thinking more like $1.25"
:lmao:

Customer: Listen, it's going to sit here for awhile and you can find these things all over town. It's mass produced and isn't exactly rare, pal. (gives condescending look)
One of the numbers for the expiration date is scratched off...you mind if I have a buddy come down here and check it out? He's an expert beer drinker, drinks a case a night, and should be able to tell me if the quality is still up to par.

I read somewhere that when they came to make the show initially Chumlee asked if he could make T shirts and merchandise for the show because Chumlee had a small business on the side. Chumlee basically he has made 3 million off of Pawn Stars keychains and novelty hats.

Correct. He also designed the coins with their faces on them.

So Corey is basically handed this situation by his father and grandfather on a silver platter and Chumlee sneaks in there and makes twice as much as him off it

:owned:

I've always been a fan of Chumlee (and Rick, but not Corey). Clever guy who shticked and merched his way to millions.

Danny the car guy from Counting Cars is probably the one worth the most from the Pawn Stars crew. Net worth of $10 million.

Interesting since every time he buys a car to flip that bald guy acts like it is going to put the shop out of business.

If Chum is worth 5 big ones, no way he's still standing behind the counter at that shop all day. He probably just comes in on the days they shoot.

None of them are behind the counter working at all. However, in the two times I've been to the shop Chum is the only one I've seen. He came out to the counter to talk to people and pose for pics, but wasn't actually working the store.

Is there a better example of someone that would be a fry cook if not for his dad owning a business?

These guys on these shows have cashed in on the uneducated viewers, but then again we are watching and the A&E and the likes will keep pusing this farsh. This includes Pawn Stars, Counting Cars, Storage Wars and American Pickers to name a few. Do I watch them, yes but for a brief minute or so to laugh at what a joke they are and to relize the so call stars of the show are just cashing in. These guys are there to seperate the normal joe's from their pocket book thru TV.
farsh?
Harsh fart

My understanding is none of these guys are ever at the shop except the days they shoot. The business is an afterthought now.

Corey had weight loss surgery last year and is supposedly down 100 lbs, although I haven't seen this season yet so you guys would know better.

Rick: "So how much do you want for it?"

Customer: "One thousand dollars."

Rick: "Oooooooooooo Kkkkkkkkkkkkkk .... [deep wheezy sigh]"

That thing is ####ing amazing. I would play with it for hours. :bag:
One of the coolest things I have seen on the show. I would lose all track of time.

Although (as much as it pains me to say), I have to agree with Corey about how cumbersome it would be in the shop. No one can come in off the street and sling it over their shoulder. You have to make shipping plans, and clear out space in your home before bringing it in.

Does someone have a name for it or a link to a pic of what you're describing? I'm intrigued.

When is Corey going to look a client in the eyes when he pulls the sheets over them. When you make a deal if your not looking someone in the eyes it seems you just fleeced them. And that hail Mary hand shake is old...

Fake????

So Rick is at some auction in this episode. He's interested in one item, so he has the auctioneer ask the seller if he will pull it from the auction in order to sell it privately to Rick, even though that's usually frowned upon. So the seller comes over as a courtesy to negotiate in good faith. The seller gives his price; Rick heaves a sigh and haggles. Then says his autograph guy will be there soon and tells the seller "It's not that I don't trust you, but I don't trust anyone."

I would have told him to eat a #### and put it back into the auction.
