i hope that is more to ur liking now shadow cause i aims to please
If you "aims to please" then I would highly suggest you start using capital letters and punctuation -- so as not to give anyone a brain tumor while they try desparately to read your posts. :lmao: :lmao: You're all welcome.

Through 7 my 3 frontrunners would have to be:

1. Valence

2. Bri

3. Duckboy

We have alot of draft to go so lets see how this draft shapes up.

:banned:

Well I guess I will be the first to start grading some teams

Restless Natives

8.08. Steve McNair, BAL, QB20, BYE 8

11.09 JaMarcus Russell, ROOKIE, QB 31,

This is the one position i let fall so hopefully the rest of my team can make up for the slack. With McNair as my number 1 i am just hoping for consistancy, and I am just hoping for some big games from Russell but not counting on it.

Grade D+

1.09. Willie Parker, PIT, RB9, BYE 6

3.09. Cadillac Williams, TB, RB22, BYE 10

6.08. Marshawn Lynch, ROOKIE, RB33,

18.08 Maurice Morris, SEA, RB65, BYE 8

19.09 Michael Robinson, SF, RB 69, BYE 6

Very happy with my top 2, and I think that Lynch has great upside if he lands in the right spot. My depth is going to be my key here cause i dont believe Gore can stay healthy 2 yrs in a row.

Grade B+

2.08. Torry Holt, SL, WR4, BYE 9

5.09. Calvin Johnson, rookie, WR26,

7.09. Greg Jennings, GB, WR42, BYE 7

9.09. Eddie Kennison, KC, WR51, BYE 8

12.08 Robert Meachum, ROOKIE, WR 72,

15.09 Tedd Ginn Jr., ROOK, WR83

20.08 Shaun McDonald, DET, WR 101, BYE 6

This is my boom or bust postition with all my rookies, but I got a great steal with McDonald in the 20th. Bye weeks shouldn't be an issue for me at all and that is the best thing about this position.

Grade B-

4.08. Todd Heap, BAL, TE4, BYE 8

10.08 Eric Johnson, NO, TE18, BYE 4

This could easily be the strength of my team. Can't believe that i got Johnson in the 10th. He should be a great fit in NO if he returns to his old form.

Grade A

14.08 Kansas City, DEF 12, BYE 8

17.09 San Francisco 49ers, DEF 29, BYE 6

2 defenses with great upside but not to sure how consistant they will be.

Grade C

13.09 Adam Vinatieri, IND, K 1, BYE 6

16.08 Olindo Mare, NO, PK 15, BYE 4

This is probably the 2nd strongest part of team. Getting 2 kickers for what should be 2 of the highest scoring teams in the league.

Grade A

Overall this team has the potential to go a long way depending on all my rookies.

Overall Grade B-

OK fellas have fun and rip me to shreds

5.06. Matt Leinart, ARI, QB9, BYE 8

8.11. Alex Smith, SF, QB21, BYE 6

Im pretty happy here, but in hindsight, I might have been able to get Leinart at 6.11 - although Im excited about what Whisenhunt can do for that offense. Smith is universally underrated and should take a big step forward this year.

1.06. Shaun Alexander, SEA, RB6, BYE 8

6.11. Ladell Betts, WAS, RB35, BYE 4

12.11 Adrian Peterson, CHI, RB 54, BYE 9

10.11 Lorenzo Booker, ROOKIE, RB48,

13.06 Kenny Irons, ROOKIE, RB 58,

20.11 Marcel Shipp, ARI, RBreally late, BYE 8

Couldnt pass on SA, not sure why he fell that far. I am fine with RB2BC in this format. Betts should be my safe 5-7 points a week guy with his pass catching and 10 or so touches a week with a TD here and there. Peterson should play a similar role in Chicago, and Shipp had a 3 TD game last year, gotta love that. Booker and Irons are swing for the fences picks, but I like my 3 headed backup RB at RB2 ok if I whiff on those picks. I especially like Booker because he's a home run threat and a great receiver.

2.11. Reggie Wayne, IND, WR6, BYE 6

3.06. Marques Colston, NO, WR15, BYE 4

7.06. Santonio Holmes, PIT, WR40, BYE 6

9.06. Brandon Jones, TEN, WR50, BYE 4

11.06 Demetrius Williams, BAL, WR62, BYE 8

19.06 Anthony Gonzalez, ROOK, WR 96

Wayne and Colston mmm mmm good. Holmes and Jones will both start, and Williams is a great big play threat. I love my top 5 WR. Gonzo is ready to play in the slot already and should outperform some of the bigger name rookie WRs who went ahead of him.

4.11. Jeremy Shockey, NYG, TE5, BYE 9

18.11 Steve Heiden, CLE, TE32, BYE 7

Shockey is annoying because he gets banged up, but when he's on, he can hang with anyone statistically. Heiden will catch 25-30 balls regardless and could be a huge steal if KWII isnt healthy. FYI, Cleveland just signed Heiden to a 4 year extension. They like him.

14.11 Indianapolis, DEF13, BYE 6

15.06 NYJ, DEF 18, BYE 10

How is Indy DEF13? Freeney and Sanders have to be healthier than they were last year, and the team constantly is ahead, allowing the D to attack, attack, attack! The jets have an underrated D, and Justin Miller returning kicks to boot. I just wanted a 2nd D with a late bye to help me get through the gauntlet.

16.11 John Kasay, CAR, PK 17, BYE 7

17.06 Ryan Longwell, MIN, PK20, BYE 5

Kickers. Whatever. I have two.

Might as well do my own. I'll probably do a few other teams tonight if I get bored of Trauma Center and Cooking Mama.

4.13. Tom Brady, NE, QB5, BYE 10

11.04 Jeff Garcia, TB, QB 29, BYE10

15.04 Trent Green, FA, QB 35,

---

Brady has been in the top 10 for QB's (7th, 2nd and 9th) for the last three years and with the recent WR acquisitions, he may have his best WR core to date. He's prime to end up in the top five again. TB didn't bring Garcia in to rot on the bench and Trent Green should end up in Miami by draft day. Remember that Green is only one year removed from a 4,000 yard passing season with a WR corps in worse shape than Miami's.

A, as long as Green ends up starting in Miami or another non-Raiders team. Otherwise knock off half a grade or so.

1.04. Brian Westbrook, PHI, RB4, BYE 5

2.13. Chester Taylor, MIN, RB20, BYE 5

7.04. Reuben Droughns, NYG, RB38, BYE 9

12.13 Kevin Faulk, NE, RB55, BYE 10

---

Westbrook and Chester Taylor give me a great 1-2 punch at RB. I figure Westbrook is good for 12-14 games at a high production and Taylor will easily give me RB#2 numbers as long as Minny keeps feeding him the ball. Considering the state of their WR corps and QB issues, I expect that to happen a lot. The bye week issue was unfortunate, but these things happen.

I think Droughns ends up with at least a 50/50 split of playing time with Jacobs and depending on how things break; he may end up as the main yardage guy for the team. That's the hope anyway. He's not a bad runner and NYG have a way better chance of making him a #2 RB in FF again compared to being 'the guy' in Cleveland. Faulk covers bye weeks and will prevent doughnuts nicely.

Worst-case scenario? Minnesota takes Adrian Peterson, Taylor quickly becomes a RB3/4 at best, Droughns struggles and I'm SOL. Right now I'm hoping he doesn't make it that far (which is looking likely thankfully). The bye week issue is going to kill me at this position, so I'm hoping Droughns and Faulk can hold it together for 1 week.

B+, obviously much lower if your specific position grades take byes into account.

3.04. TJ Houshmandzadeh, CIN, WR13, BYE 5

6.13. Isaac Bruce, STL, WR35, BYE 9

8.13. Arnaz Battle, SF, WR48, BYE 6

9.04. Derrick Mason, BAL, WR49, BYE 8

10.13 Reche Caldwell, NE, WR58, BYE 10

20.13 Billy McMullen, MINN, WR-INFI, BYE 5

---

I've got a stud in Housh and after that I picked a lot of players that sound and look underwhelming, but managed to produce solid stats. I think Bruce hangs on for at least another year and puts up another 1,000 yard season (or close to it). Battle outplayed Bryant last year on the Niners and I expect him to put up better numbers than Lelie. I figure he ends up in the top 30 WR this year unless Alex Smith somehow regressed.

Mason quietly put up a top 36 WR season, which means he's fine as a WR#3, especially in a 16 team league. More importantly, he had more targets last season than anyone else on the board at the time I took him. Even if his numbers drop, he was already in the triple digits. If he gets traded, all bets are off though. Could end up the #1 in Minn or who knows. Who knows how Caldwell does, I just think he has a chance to do well with Brady spreading the ball out to everyone; which was the only way he'd see the ball. McMullen is a flyer and he has enough talent to end up starting week in and out at some point in the season.

C+, I could see a B- because this set of guys have a solid floor which I think is valuable for WR 2/3. But I can understand anyone giving me lower marks.

5.04. Alge Crumpler, ATL, TE6, BYE 8

13.04 Jerramy Stevens, UFA, TE26

---

Crumpler is Vick's main target and Stevens was just a flyer. There are at least 4-5 teams that could use any TE at the moment, so I figure Stevens will find his way somewhere. Even if not, Crumpler is enough for me.

B

14.13 Buffalo, DEF14, BYE 6

16.13 Tennessee Titans, DEF 23, BYE 4

17.04 Arizona Cardinals, DEF27, BYE 8

---

3 defenses, including the underrated Cards. I should get decent numbers at this position by sheer volume.

A

18.13 Dave Rayner, GB, PK28, BYE 7

19.04 Mason Crosby, ROOK, PK30,

---

Kickers, Feh. I have 2, I guess. I think Crosby ends up somewhere. Even if he doesn't, the difference between Rayner and the top kicker (Gould) last season is 34 points. I don't care.

D, seriously I don't care about kickers.

I think my overall team is pretty strong, despite having a bottom-feeding WR corps. The thing that concerns me most is Week 5. If I can get by that, I'm a very happy man.

Fun draft all, good luck. ;)

I could see liking Leinart a lot for this type of format. He should grow nicely from a decent rookie outing and he certainly has the tools around him to put up big numbers. Agree on Alex Smith not sucking as badly as last year, although I think he won't make that big of a leap. Still, he should easily put up decent numbers barring something odd happening. B

SA is fine as RB1, especially considering the division Seattle is in. I was skeptical about your RB#2 numbers, but you have so many that could put up numbers from week to week you shouldn't have problems with it. I actually really like this strategy, because it gives you a few RB that are sure to put up points and some weeks will you'll luck out and get great numbers for RB2. Or of course Portis gets hurt again and you have a legit top 20 back in Betts...B+

Wayne and Colston are great. Holmes and Jones should end up in the top 50 again and Williams may be a decent home-run hitter. I'm not big on most rook's, so I reserve judgment on Gonzalez. B

Fine pairing, although Shockey gets dinged up and always seems to drop 1-2 balls that he should catch every game. B

If we assume 06 was a fluke defense wise, then I agree. If the rush D suddenly goes back to being god-awful for any length of the time, I can understand the drop. Jets are a nice safe middle of the road DEF to have around. B+
16.11 John Kasay, CAR, PK 17, BYE 717.06 Ryan Longwell, MIN, PK20, BYE 5Kickers. Whatever. I have two.
Kickers. Whatever. You have two. ;) I wasn't too keen on this team at first when I watched it being built during the draft, but now that I see the end results and how some of the picks mesh together, I like it a lot more. Overall B+ just because you don't have any terrible bye weeks (4 looks to be the weakest) and aren't particularly weak at anything.

5.01. Vince Young, TEN, QB9, BYE 48.16. Rex Grossman, CHI, QB23, BYE 9
Boom or bust from Grossman goes nicely with VY, assuming he keeps that consistency going. Despite the PPG being the same for both players, VY just under performed in some games, while Rex completely no showed. Running QB's are a boon in this format and Grossman will make sure that you'll have plenty of high scoring weeks. B
1.01. LaDainian Tomlinson, SD, RB1, BYE 74.16. Jamal Lewis, CLE, RB29, BYE 77.01. Jerious Norwood, ATL, RB37, BYE 89.01. Tatum Bell, DET, RB44, BYE 6
LT. ;) Need I say more? I think Lewis will struggle in CLE, but if AP doesn't land there, he'll still be the guy and get the entire workload. Norwood and Bell are both big ?'s coming into the season, but as long as one of these guys is around, you're golden. Besides, LT can basically carry the #1 and #2 by himself some weeks.Same bye for Lewis and LT is going to suck though. A
2.16. Donald Driver, GB, WR9, BYE 73.01. Roy Williams, DET, WR10, BYE 610.16 Antonio Bryant, UFA, WR58,11.01 Wes Welker, NE, WR59, BYE 1012.16 Bryant Johnson, ARI, WR74, BYE 818.16 Eric Moulds, FA, WR9219.01 Samie Parker, KC, WR93, BYE 8
Driver and Roy are a great start. After that, you've got serious issues concerning depth. Bryant will probably do ok once he lands, so expect him back by mid-season. Welker is a wild card in NE, hard to predict. Moulds is done. Parker is the 3rd/4th option on a KC team that struggles with passing. Bryant Johnson will be a great fill-in if Boldin or Fitz miss any time.B/B-, depends how you rank the depth here.I'll lean towards B atm, because I think Welker will come on strong.
6.16. Ben Watson, NE, TE11, BYE 1013.01 Jermaine Wiggins, JAC, TE 25, BYE 4
Watson didn't live up to the hype and now he has competition from real WR, but he should still be a top 12ish TE. Wiggins is in the JAC passing game, which I have no idea how to divvy up. On the plus side, you know he can catch the ball. Not exactly an impressive duo, but you should do alright.C
14.16 Minnesota, DEF 15, BYE 516.16 Saint Louis Rams, DEF 25, BYE 9
Rams are good middle of the road ho-hum number getter. Plenty of weeks where you'll get 2-3pts or less, but the other half are golden. Minny had a stifling run D and should do well again this year.B+
15.01 Jeff Wilkins, STL, K 7, BYE 917.01 Mike Nugent, NYJ, K 19, BYE 10
2 Kickers. You win the prize.LT is huge. B+ overall. The big frowny face here is week 7 where both your RB go on bye together along with Driver. I won't be shocked if you kick ### till then and suddenly stumble right out. You do have enough weapons to make a run at immunity each week though.

QB:

Bulger(9), Frerotte(9) & Losman(6)

The key is for Bulger to stay healthy which is why I ttok Frerotte with my last pick. When healthy he is top 5 easy. Losman had about 5 games of QB1 numbers so he should be a decent back up. His 2nd half showed promise and he might be on the rise somwhat.

Grade:A

RB:

Portis(4), James(8), R.Williams(9), Dillon(FA) & S.Williams(6)

Portis year will be decided by how healthy he is. A full year should yield top 7 results. James could be a nice surprise in this new offense. He should be able to produce top 10 numbers anyway. The rest are just guys that might collectively give me a gane or 2.

Grade:B

WR:

Burress(9), Moss(5), Curry(5), R.Smith(6), Perry(5) & Engram(8)

A group that could be great or just so so. The key is clearly Moss. If he returns to his ability then this is an A group. Otherwise I'm hoping that Engram, Perry and Smith can make up the difference and that's not going to happen.

Grade:C

TE:

LJ Smith(6) & Des.Clark(9)

A decent group considering I was not willing to draft a top 4 as early as they were going. Waiting until the 6th allowed me to be better at QB and WR (if Moss is good) LJ is usually underrated and can be considered a top when both he and McNabb are healthy for 16 games. The fact that Philly did not go after a top flight WR says they plan to keep Smith as a primary reciever. Clark some nice games and surprised many last year. This is what they thought he was capable of the converted WR was drafted by Chicago. He had 6 TE1 games last year and might be even better this year though I expect it to be about the same. In any case he was nice compliment to Smith and cheap in the 10th round.

Grade:B

PK:

Rackers(8) & Bironas(4)

They have different byes so I'm feeling good.

Grade:B

D/ST:

Jacksonville(4) & Cinn(5)

I'm not excitied about these 2 but if Cinn stays healthy they can produce some nice TO's.

Grade:C

Overall if Moss, Bulger and Portis are healthy then I like overall balance of this team. All poisitions have players that have finished top 5 or better and this group could be explosive if they were to find their past glory. But the reality is that outside of Bulger and maybe Portis they likely won't relive in the past. I see this team hanging around until about week 10.

Overall Grade: B

7.14. Ben Roethlisberger, PIT, QB15, BYE 6

10.03 Damon Huard, KC, QB27, BYE 8

18.03 Brody Croyle, KC, QB 36, BYE 8

I was ecstatic getting Ben and Huard where I did. Overall they should be solid, yet unspectacular.

B-

2.03. Willis McGahee, BUF, RB17, BYE 6

3.14. Deuce McAllister, NO, RB25, BYE 4

9.14. Leon Washington, NYJ, RB46, BYE 10

14.03 Correll Buckhalter, PHI, RB 61, BYE 5

I like these RBs from the 15 hole. All with different bye weeks, but maybe not enough upside.

B-

1.14. Steve Smith, CAR, WR1, BYE 7

4.03. Santana Moss, WAS, WR20, BYE 4

6.03. Joey Galloway, TB, WR32, BYE 10

11.14 Amani Toomer, NYG, WR 66, BYE 9

13.14 Chris Henry, CIN, WR 78, BYE 5

16.03 Sidney Rice, ROOK, WR87,

19.14 Derek Hagan, MIA, WR99, BYE 9

The strength of this team is at WR with Smith, Santana and galloway who could all put up big games any week. One key might be if still around come week 10 when Henry comes back. If so, these WRs will be strong ... assuming no injuries. Bye week on week 9, along with Henry's suspension, will be only tough week.

B

5.14. Jason Witten, DAL, TE9, BYE 8

12.03 Alex Smith, TB, TE21, BYE 10

20.03 Bo Scaife, TEN, TE33, BYE 4

Three decent TEs with different bye weeks.

B

8.03. Chicago, DEF, BYE 9

Only was able to get one defense. Good think it was the Bears.

B+

15.14 Matt Stover, BAL, PK11, BYE 8

17.14 Matt Bryant, TB, PK25, BYE 10

Two kickers .....

Overall, I would give this team a B/B- with the only upside coming from the RBs.

Well, you definitely need to be strong in other areas to make up for QB... are you?RB: love FWP. Keep your fingers crossed that TB does not take AD. Lynch was good value, as was MRob, but this is just an average RB at best, and possibly below average.WR: Holt is a great anchor, and Calvin should be a WR3/4 at worst with a lot of upside. Kennison and Jennings should combine to be nice WR3, and youre sure to get a start or two out of Ginn with his huge plays. I dont think you needed McDonald and should have thrown another dart at QB instead.TE: Youre set. Agreed on EJ being a nice pick.Other: you did fine at D and K, I like SF as a sleeper D.This team comes down to whether Caddy/Lynch can put together an RB2 season between them. If so, you can hang on for a while, but this team is very vulnerable the first week McNair lays an egg.

Might as well do my own. I'll probably do a few other teams tonight if I get bored of Trauma Center and Cooking Mama. 4.13. Tom Brady, NE, QB5, BYE 1011.04 Jeff Garcia, TB, QB 29, BYE1015.04 Trent Green, FA, QB 35,---Brady has been in the top 10 for QB's (7th, 2nd and 9th) for the last three years and with the recent WR acquisitions, he may have his best WR core to date. Otherwise knock off half a grade or so.1.04. Brian Westbrook, PHI, RB4, BYE 52.13. Chester Taylor, MIN, RB20, BYE 57.04. Reuben Droughns, NYG, RB38, BYE 912.13 Kevin Faulk, NE, RB55, BYE 10---Westbrook and Chester Taylor give me a great 1-2 punch at RB. B+, obviously much lower if your specific position grades take byes into account.3.04. TJ Houshmandzadeh, CIN, WR13, BYE 56.13. Isaac Bruce, STL, WR35, BYE 98.13. Arnaz Battle, SF, WR48, BYE 69.04. Derrick Mason, BAL, WR49, BYE 810.13 Reche Caldwell, NE, WR58, BYE 1020.13 Billy McMullen, MINN, WR-INFI, BYE 5---I've got a stud in Housh and after that I picked a lot of players that sound and look underwhelming, but managed to produce solid stats. McMullen is a flyer and he has enough talent to end up starting week in and out at some point in the season.C+, I could see a B- because this set of guys have a solid floor which I think is valuable for WR 2/3. But I can understand anyone giving me lower marks.5.04. Alge Crumpler, ATL, TE6, BYE 813.04 Jerramy Stevens, UFA, TE26---Crumpler is Vick's main target and Stevens was just a flyer. There are at least 4-5 teams that could use any TE at the moment, so I figure Stevens will find his way somewhere. Even if not, Crumpler is enough for me.B14.13 Buffalo, DEF14, BYE 616.13 Tennessee Titans, DEF 23, BYE 417.04 Arizona Cardinals, DEF27, BYE 8---3 defenses, including the underrated Cards. I should get decent numbers at this position by sheer volume.A18.13 Dave Rayner, GB, PK28, BYE 719.04 Mason Crosby, ROOK, PK30, ---Kickers, Feh. :goodposting:
I like Brady as an anchor. Green seemed like a somewhat unnecessary pick. He didn't seem like he wanted to be playing at the end of the season.WAY too much trust in Chester Taylor. If AD goes to MIN (I would say at least 10-15% chance) you're done.Decent WR at best, no real explosive/big upside guys.Crumpler should be fine, but I wouldnt be surprised if Stevens is a backup whereever he lands.I like the triple combo D strategy, but I don't like any of the Ds you picked. Still, this should work out if only by luck.I just don't see how you get past week 5.

LT. Need I say more?
VY should be a top 5 QB madden curse be damned. I wanted him bad as my QB1. nice pick. Rex is a sneaky good backup in this format, we know that when he's on, he's really on.I would have liked to see another flier or two at RB. Lewis and Norwood will surely see some of their value submarined at the draft, and Bell's value is dependant on KJ's health. Way overpaid for Lewis.Nice drafting at WR, although Moss could be a Packer by next Monday. I love the late picks of Welker and Bryant Johnson, and Samie Parker should contribute a few weeks. great job with the double digit WR picks.Watson was decent value, and Wiggins is a good receiver, nothing special here, but enough.I like MIN D as a sleeper, and the Ks both having late bye weeks should help.If VY can have some huge weeks when you get nothing from your RB2, then this team has a shot, but week 7 is gonna be HARSH. VY and your WRs need to come through big or its all over.

Love the Bulger/Losman combo. Bulger is terrific in this format, any NFC West QB is really - lots of shootouts brewing there. Frerotte was a smart pick because Bulger is built like a librarian.Portis is a fine centerpiece, but keep your fingers crossed that Peterson's name doesnt get called at #5.

Like you said, your fate is tied to Moss. Expect him to get traded next week.

Smith and Clark are a fine TE combo for missing out on the big names.

Good call on Cincy being an opportunistic D, and JAX is always good for a few shutdown games.

It's all about Moss and Portis, you nailed it in your writeup. You'll be fine if Bulger goes down, Frerotte knows the Linehan system front and back.

7.14. Ben Roethlisberger, PIT, QB15, BYE 610.03 Damon Huard, KC, QB27, BYE 818.03 Brody Croyle, KC, QB 36, BYE 8I was ecstatic getting Ben and Huard where I did. Overall they should be solid, yet unspectacular.B-2.03. Willis McGahee, BUF, RB17, BYE 63.14. Deuce McAllister, NO, RB25, BYE 49.14. Leon Washington, NYJ, RB46, BYE 1014.03 Correll Buckhalter, PHI, RB 61, BYE 5I like these RBs from the 15 hole. All with different bye weeks, but maybe not enough upside.B-1.14. Steve Smith, CAR, WR1, BYE 74.03. Santana Moss, WAS, WR20, BYE 46.03. Joey Galloway, TB, WR32, BYE 1011.14 Amani Toomer, NYG, WR 66, BYE 913.14 Chris Henry, CIN, WR 78, BYE 516.03 Sidney Rice, ROOK, WR87, 19.14 Derek Hagan, MIA, WR99, BYE 9The strength of this team is at WR with Smith, Santana and galloway who could all put up big games any week. One key might be if still around come week 10 when Henry comes back. If so, these WRs will be strong ... assuming no injuries. Bye week on week 9, along with Henry's suspension, will be only tough week.B5.14. Jason Witten, DAL, TE9, BYE 812.03 Alex Smith, TB, TE21, BYE 1020.03 Bo Scaife, TEN, TE33, BYE 4Three decent TEs with different bye weeks.B8.03. Chicago, DEF, BYE 9Only was able to get one defense. Good think it was the Bears.B+15.14 Matt Stover, BAL, PK11, BYE 817.14 Matt Bryant, TB, PK25, BYE 10Two kickers .....Overall, I would give this team a B/B- with the only upside coming from the RBs.
HUGE value where you got Ben. Top 10 potential this year with no Cowah. Huard should still be starting in Week 6, you might have been better off taking another RB instead of Croyle. He won't do much if he gets to start down the stretch anyway.Willis and Deuce are a nice combo, if somewhat pedestrian, and Washington should be good for some solid weeks here and there, but NO DEPTH is going to kill this team. I like the top of the WR crew a lot. Smith Moss and Galloway are all liable to have 7/150/2 weeks any given week. Rice is one of the rawest of the rooks, I dont know if he'll contribute early, that combined with Henry's suspension and Toomer possibly being limited early leaves you vulnerable. I see why you took Hagan late, great value, but thats another pick that should have been an RB.Chicago D very well could save your butt who do they play week 6?I ask because Week 6 looks like the death knell for this team. If you get past that and get Henry back + Rice comes on, they could get you deep into the year, but there are some rough achilles heels to protect before you get there.

2.05. Peyton Manning, IND, QB1, BYE 6

19.12 Andrew Walter, OAK, QB36, BYE 5

20.05 Josh McCown, DET, QB 38, BYE 6

Had to take Peyton at 2.5. It was coming down to him and Chad Johnson and Chad went one pick before. Also will hopefully have the Raiders starter as a bye week fill in. I think the Raiders O will be vastly improved this year with a new scheme.

1.12. Ronnie Brown, MIA, RB12, BYE 9

3.12. Adrian Peterson, ROOKIE, RB23,

4.05. Ahman Green, HOU, RB27, BYE 10

16.05 Brandon Jackson, ROOK, RB62

I have 3 starting RB's and a rook with potential. I like having 3 good RB's as it allows me to fish with WR's where you can find talent deeper in the draft.

6.05. Matt Jones, JAC, WR34, BYE 4

7.12. Brandon Marshall, DEN, WR45, BYE 6

8.05. Troy Williamson, MIN, WR46, BYE 5

11.12 Eric Parker, SD, WR 64, BYE 7

13.12 Peerless Price, BUF, WR 77, BYE 6

14.05 Nate Burleson, SEA, WR81

18.05 Kelley Washington, NE, WR88, BYE 10

I really think that Matt Jones puts it up this year. I almost took him in the 4th over Ahman. Troy williamson will be better this year and Marshall will get more action. Parker is OK and I think that Price will continue back towards his previous stop in Buffalo form. I also like the flyers on Burleson and Washignton as I bet they contribute for me a couple of times.

5.12. Vernon Davis, SF, TE8, BYE 6

9.12. Heath Miller, PIT, TE16, BYE 6

I thought that Heath Miller was fantastic value in the 9th. Pairing him with Vernon Davis, I should have very solid depth here, especially with the 2 pt per reception.

10.05 New England, DEF, BYE 10

12.05 Dallas, DEF6, BYE 8

Got two top D's (Wade Philips will get them to stop the run better as he always does and will turn loose the blitz). The Cowboys are my sleeper D this year. Get ready for some sacks and turnovers.

15.12 Jason Elam, DEN, PK10, BYE 6

17.12 Jay Feely, MIA, PK23, BYE 9

Two starters. Great

Overall, I am sure that my team will not make a lot of fans. I am a believer in getting WR depth and hitting with a large group. WR's come out of the woodwork every year. I think I am strong at QB, RB, TE, and D. These should be able to help me overcome a perceived weakness at WR. No team will be strong at every position and I picked my poison to be WR.

Oh yeah and Sig, no way would Leinart have slid past me in the 6th. I think big things are in store for him.

This was a frustrating draft for me. The first few rounds went great, as I hit most of my targets. After that, I seemed to always be a few picks behind. BUT...I LOVE the end result! Better still...ZERO bye week problems! :goodposting:

6.09. Tony Romo, DAL, QB12, BYE 8

9.08. Chad Pennington, NYJ, QB25, BYE 10

I'm not as high on Romo as most, but he seemed an excellant value where I got him. Pennington is a bit of a risk, but I think he at least keeps his job. GRADE: C

1.08. Joseph Addai, IND, RB8, BYE 6

2.09. Cedric Benson, CHI, RB19, BYE 9

8.09. LenDale White, TEN, RB41, BYE 4

13.08 Mewelde Moore, MIN, RB 59, BYE 5

19.08 Tony Hunt, ROOK, RB68

Addai and Benson probably won't p[erform to stud levels, but they will get PLENTY of action. LenDale White and Mewelde Moore will keep me from any zero's, but I would expect White to score for me several weeks. Hunt is a late flyer, who could be a nice goal line back if he goes to the right team. No super stud, but plenty of depth here. Definately an above average group.

GRADE: B+

3.08. Hines Ward, PIT, WR16, BYE 6

4.09. Reggie Brown, PHI, WR21, BYE 5

5.08. Terry Glenn, DAL, WR25, BYE 8

10.09 Ashley Lelie, SF, WR54, BYE 6

11.08 Michael Clayton, TB, WR63, BYE 10

18.09 Ernest Wilford, JAC, WR90, BYE 4

20.09 Johnnie Lee Higgins, ROOK, WR102

If I'm counting correctly, I may well have five starters. I expect big years from Ward and R. Brown. Glenn should be a solid and dependable #3 who likely will perform better then most WR2's. Lelie and Clayton have great upside potential. Wilford I don't know what to think of, but at WR90, who cares? Higgins is a flyer.

GRADE: A

7.08. Tony Scheffler, DEN, TE12, BYE 6

12.09 Greg Olsen, ROOKIE, TE 22

Got caught on the bad side of the runs at TE. Schefler was probably a mistake. I'm really high on Olsen, but he has to go to the right team.

GRADE: C- if Olsen to the right team, otherwise a D.

15.08 Carolina, DEF 19, BYE 7

17.08 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, DEF28, BYE 10

Didn't care here, and it shows.

GRADE: C-

14.09 David Akers, PHI, PK3, BYE 5

16.09 Joe Nedney, SF, PK16, BYE 6

Not that many of us care, but this will be a top 3 combo for Kickers.

GRADE: A-

Overall, a solid A-/B+. I expect to stay competitive to the end.

Peyton was good value, and I like that you didnt care about having a real #2. that being said, why even draft Walter and McCown?Man are you hosed if AD goes to HOU. Two starting RBs turns into an RBBC. I doubt that happens, although you could also get stung because AD could easily be sharing if he ends up at CLE/TB/ARI/MIN. Love the Jackson pick late, but where's the depth? Ronnie Brown is not exactly a bell cow, especially with Williams coming back. You did the best you could with WR, not taking one until the 6th - Jones/Marshall/Williamson are all big play guys, and you assembled a nice group of vets to contribute here and there. Itll be a win if this WR group is middle of the pack - you did the right thing by taking 7.Love Davis this year, but Miller was unnecessary, I would have rather seen WR4 or RB4 there.Good job getting two potent Ds with late byes, that could save you in week 6.This team is precarious, but if AD or some of those young WRs hit, you could make a run.

Your QBs should be decent and you didnt overpay.Man lots of ?s at RB. Benson and Addai have never carried the load for an entire season. I like the risk/reward ratio where you got White. Hunt was a savvy late pick. This RB corps could be one of the best, could be one of the worst. WRs are excellent and should be one of the best in the league. Nice use of late picks on Lelie, Clayton and Wilford to fill gaps. Higgins might have been overkill.Scheffler should be fine, he and Cutler were on the same page late last year. Olsen could contribute, but likely later than earlier. This team has a good chance to go deep as long as Benson and Addai earn their draft position. One of the best drafts, little that I would change.

Decent value where u drafted them but I don't expect any big games from either.Grade C
1.08. Joseph Addai, IND, RB8, BYE 62.09. Cedric Benson, CHI, RB19, BYE 98.09. LenDale White, TEN, RB41, BYE 413.08 Mewelde Moore, MIN, RB 59, BYE 519.08 Tony Hunt, ROOK, RB68Addai and Benson probably won't p[erform to stud levels, but they will get PLENTY of action. LenDale White and Mewelde Moore will keep me from any zero's, but I would expect White to score for me several weeks. Hunt is a late flyer, who could be a nice goal line back if he goes to the right team. No super stud, but plenty of depth here. Definately an above average group.GRADE: B+
Solid starters, but not sure if they can stay healthy. Good pick with White and should keep u from getting any zeros assuming Ten doesn't draft a RB.Grade B-
3.08. Hines Ward, PIT, WR16, BYE 64.09. Reggie Brown, PHI, WR21, BYE 55.08. Terry Glenn, DAL, WR25, BYE 810.09 Ashley Lelie, SF, WR54, BYE 611.08 Michael Clayton, TB, WR63, BYE 1018.09 Ernest Wilford, JAC, WR90, BYE 420.09 Johnnie Lee Higgins, ROOK, WR102If I'm counting correctly, I may well have five starters. I expect big years from Ward and R. Brown. Glenn should be a solid and dependable #3 who likely will perform better then most WR2's. Lelie and Clayton have great upside potential. Wilford I don't know what to think of, but at WR90, who cares? Higgins is a flyer.GRADE: A
The Depth is what will save u here, which u need without a #1 reciever.Grade B+
7.08. Tony Scheffler, DEN, TE12, BYE 612.09 Greg Olsen, ROOKIE, TE 22Got caught on the bad side of the runs at TE. Schefler was probably a mistake. I'm really high on Olsen, but he has to go to the right team. GRADE: C- if Olsen to the right team, otherwise a D.
Not a fan of your TE's. Don't think Scheffler gets many catches with Graham coming to town, but Olsen could be a good pick if he lands in a good spot.Grade D+
15.08 Carolina, DEF 19, BYE 717.08 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, DEF28, BYE 10Didn't care here, and it shows.GRADE: C-

Akers should be solid if McNabb stays healthy. And well someone has to score for SF.Grade B
Overall, a solid A-/B+. I expect to stay competitive to the end.

2.05. Peyton Manning, IND, QB1, BYE 619.12 Andrew Walter, OAK, QB36, BYE 520.05 Josh McCown, DET, QB 38, BYE 6Had to take Peyton at 2.5. It was coming down to him and Chad Johnson and Chad went one pick before. Also will hopefully have the Raiders starter as a bye week fill in. I think the Raiders O will be vastly improved this year with a new scheme.
Well any team with Manning is hard to not give an A to but this is one of them without a viable backup.Grade B+
1.12. Ronnie Brown, MIA, RB12, BYE 93.12. Adrian Peterson, ROOKIE, RB23,4.05. Ahman Green, HOU, RB27, BYE 1016.05 Brandon Jackson, ROOK, RB62I have 3 starting RB's and a rook with potential. I like having 3 good RB's as it allows me to fish with WR's where you can find talent deeper in the draft.
With 2 starting RBs the team looks pretty good. Without a true number 1 you could have some problems. You have the potential to have 3 starters with Peterson depending on where he ends up.Grade B
6.05. Matt Jones, JAC, WR34, BYE 47.12. Brandon Marshall, DEN, WR45, BYE 68.05. Troy Williamson, MIN, WR46, BYE 511.12 Eric Parker, SD, WR 64, BYE 713.12 Peerless Price, BUF, WR 77, BYE 614.05 Nate Burleson, SEA, WR8118.05 Kelley Washington, NE, WR88, BYE 10I really think that Matt Jones puts it up this year.
In this format your best reciever is #3 at best so you will need the positions to pick up the slack.Grade C-
5.12. Vernon Davis, SF, TE8, BYE 69.12. Heath Miller, PIT, TE16, BYE 6I thought that Heath Miller was fantastic value in the 9th. Pairing him with Vernon Davis, I should have very solid depth here, especially with the 2 pt per reception.
Nice combo here, but with the same bye week u could be in trouble week 6.Grade B-
10.05 New England, DEF, BYE 1012.05 Dallas, DEF6, BYE 8Got two top D's (Wade Philips will get them to stop the run better as he always does and will turn loose the blitz). The Cowboys are my sleeper D this year. Get ready for some sacks and turnovers.
Love the defenses, they are the strength of your team.Grade A+
15.12 Jason Elam, DEN, PK10, BYE 617.12 Jay Feely, MIA, PK23, BYE 9Two starters. Great
With one the more reliable kickers in the league you are pretty solid here.Grade B
Overall Could have been a contender with better WRs.Grade B+

4.06. Donovan McNabb, PHI, QB4, BYE 5

9.11. Byron Leftwich, JAC, QB26, BYE 4

I'm happy with these two. I'm glad I took a top QB in the 4th instead of waiting until 5.11 like I had originally planned. Leftwich is a fine filler and I have him rated higher than most. If McNab plays a full season then I'm great

B+

1.11. Rudi Johnson, CIN, RB11, BYE 5

6.06. Fred Taylor, JAC, RB32, BYE 4

8.06. Deshaun Foster, CAR, RB40, BYE 7

11.11 Chris Perry, CIN, RB 52, BYE 5

This was a frustrating position for me because I always felt like there was little value when it got back to me. Now that I look at it I don't think it is too bad. RJ is always an unspectacular lock to put up 1500 total and 10-12. I don't think MJD gets full time duties. I still say Freddy gets close to 1k yds and will near 10 TD's. Same goes for Foster. I think he will get the majority of the carries as long as he is healthy. In rounds 9 and 11 I was targeting Ricky Williams and\or Corey Dillon, but FM snaked both of them one spot in front of me.

15.11 David Givens, TEN, WR84, BYE 4

19.11 Maurice Stovall, TB, WR 97, BYE 10

Bye weeks killed me here. my top 2 both out week 8 sucks a lot, expecially when Gonzo is out that week as well. I have a solid top 3. Carter and Stovall should provide a few big weeks each. Bowe had an awesome camp. I think he contributes in his first year. Givens, if back from injury could be a steal.

I've never taken 3 TE's before, especially haveing a top 5 one, but I made a boneheaded move and drafted Pollard without double checking Gonzo's bye week. When a potential top 15 TE was still on the board in round 20 I had to take him because of the bye week situation.

QB:Bulger(9), Frerotte(9) & Losman(6)The key is for Bulger to stay healthy which is why I ttok Frerotte with my last pick. When healthy he is top 5 easy. Losman had about 5 games of QB1 numbers so he should be a decent back up. His 2nd half showed promise and he might be on the rise somwhat.Grade:A
I like the Strategy in taking Bulger's backup and a very solid #2 in LosmanGrade A-
RB:Portis(4), James(8), R.Williams(9), Dillon(FA) & S.Williams(6)Portis year will be decided by how healthy he is. A full year should yield top 7 results. James could be a nice surprise in this new offense. He should be able to produce top 10 numbers anyway. The rest are just guys that might collectively give me a gane or 2.Grade:B
I like the RBs especially if Joe Thomas ends up in Arizona. Your backups are questionable, but you should be safe as long as Dillon comes back this year, which I do believe that he will.Grade B
WR:Burress(9), Moss(5), Curry(5), R.Smith(6), Perry(5) & Engram(8)A group that could be great or just so so. The key is clearly Moss. If he returns to his ability then this is an A group. Otherwise I'm hoping that Engram, Perry and Smith can make up the difference and that's not going to happen.Grade:C
To many Question marks here, and bye week 5 is a killer.Grade C-
TE:LJ Smith(6) & Des.Clark(9)A decent group considering I was not willing to draft a top 4 as early as they were going. In any case he was nice compliment to Smith and cheap in the 10th round.Grade:B
Solid TEs they produce nicely Grade B
PK:Rackers(8) & Bironas(4)They have different byes so I'm feeling good.Grade:B
A proven kicker with Rackers and an improving offense in Ten.Grade B
D/ST:Jacksonville(4) & Cinn(5)I'm not excitied about these 2 but if Cinn stays healthy they can produce some nice TO's.Grade:C
Should get some solid scores out of Jax but Cinn has 2 many ??????Grade C+
Overall if Moss, Bulger and Portis are healthy then I like overall balance of this team. All poisitions have players that have finished top 5 or better and this group could be explosive if they were to find their past glory. But the reality is that outside of Bulger and maybe Portis they likely won't relive in the past. I see this team hanging around until about week 10.Overall Grade: B
Overall there are to many ??????? at WR other than that fairly solid team.Grade B-

Great #1, but we will see about your backups. The way it stands now you only have one starter with 2 backups. Grade B+
1.04. Brian Westbrook, PHI, RB4, BYE 52.13. Chester Taylor, MIN, RB20, BYE 57.04. Reuben Droughns, NYG, RB38, BYE 912.13 Kevin Faulk, NE, RB55, BYE 10---Westbrook and Chester Taylor give me a great 1-2 punch at RB.
Your starters are solid but of course bye weeks have to be taken into account. That is your killer cause u have solid depth if you can make it past week 5.Grade C+
3.04. McMullen is a flyer and he has enough talent to end up starting week in and out at some point in the season.C+, I could see a B- because this set of guys have a solid floor which I think is valuable for WR 2/3. But I can understand anyone giving me lower marks
IMHO you don't have a true #1 and you are hoping for big years from rather old vets. They will put decent #3 numbers and not much more.Grade C
5.04. Even if not, Crumpler is enough for me.B
Crumpler is solid but you don't have a backup as of now.Grade B-
14.13 Buffalo, DEF14, BYE 616.13 Tennessee Titans, DEF 23, BYE 417.04 Arizona Cardinals, DEF27, BYE 8---3 defenses, including the underrated Cards. I should get decent numbers at this position by sheer volume.A
Yes you got 2 defenses, but IMO none of them are very solid, but with 3 you strike lighting once in a while.Grade B+
18.13 Dave Rayner, GB, PK28, BYE 719.04 Mason Crosby, ROOK, PK30, ---Kickers, Feh. I have 2, I guess. I think Crosby ends up somewhere. Even if he doesn't, the difference between Rayner and the top kicker (Gould) last season is 34 points. I don't care. D, seriously I don't care about kickers.
Only having one starting Kicker could be trouble.Grade D
I think my overall team is pretty strong, despite having a bottom-feeding WR corps. The thing that concerns me most is Week 5. If I can get by that, I'm a very happy man.
Overall You have 2 glaring weaknesses in WR and Kicker.Grade C+/B-

Ok fellas I need to take a little break for now, but I will continue the grading in a few hours.

PS Feel free to let me know what u think of my evals. I am open to critiscm and would like to know if you guys think that I am being fair. Also feel free to rip my team apart.

Pigskin Pimp

No bye week issues. I'm going to talk about my strategy instead of giving myself grades.

QB

3.07. Carson Palmer, CIN, QB2, BYE 5

11.07 Charlie Frye, CLE, QB 30, BYE 7

14.10 Brady Quinn, ROOKIE, QB34

I'm not a big fan of the early QB, but at #39 overall, I believe I had great value to choose Palmer. Once I locked up Carson, I didn't even look at QB until the latter rounds. I should have grabbed ASmith before Bloom and would have had the top tandem in the league, but never envisioned a huge QB2 run before it got back to me. Frye was the last QB still with a job on the board, so I had to take him and then burn a pick on Quinn in case Cleveland drafts him. Even if Quinn doesn't go to CLE, he should be playing sometime in '07.

RB

1.07. Reggie Bush, NO, RB7, BYE 4

4.10. DeAngelo Williams, CAR, RB28, BYE 7

6.10. Lamont Jordan, OAK, RB34, BYE 5

18.10 TJ Duckett, DET, RB66, BYE 6

Huge fan of Bush and he'll only get better. In a PPR league, I love to get my hands on RBs that catch the rock. Cheap points. I grabbed 3 of them. Jordan at 6.10 was downright robbery. Now, none of my top 3 are featured backs, but all of them would be the receiving backs for their teams. I'm set, of the 3, I should get consistent points every week. Duckett was a flier in case KJones doesn't come back. Duckett would then get the goalline carries IMO.

WR

2.10. Terrell Owens, DAL, WR5, BYE 8

5.07. Donte StallWorth, PHI, WR24, BYE 5

7.07. Joe Horn, ATl, WR41, BYE 8

8.10. Keyshawn Johnson, CAR, WR47, BYE 7

13.07 Bobby Wade, MIN, WR 75, BYE 5

19.07 Justin McCareins, NYJ, WR96, BYE 10

I added depth to this position to strengthen it. TO at WR5 is good value. Stallworth is on a prove it contract. Horn and KeyShawn are on their last legs, but you know what they bring to the table. Wade could end up the #1 in Minny, and McCareins with another year in the O should be able to point for me. Now, you won't look at my WRs and go "wow", but with the depth and ability for all to put up points, this group is decent looking.

TE

10.10 Visanthe Shiancoe, MIN, TE19, BYE 5

12.10 Ben Troupe, TEN, TE 23, BYE 4

20.10 Leonard Pope, ARI, TE 36, BYE 8

Of course the weakness of my team. I had no problems watching the TEs go while I built my team. Unless the name is Gates, it doesn't matter to me, as any TE can get shut down. When I saw guys taking their second TEs before I had one, I don't know if I was laughing or crying. I really was targeting Eric Johnson, but the Heap owner decided to take him a couple of picks before I selected (this move still perplexes me). That said, for being the last guy to take TEs, I think I ended up in OK shape. Shiancoe will be the unquestioned #1 in MIN, while Troupe and Pope are starters on their teams. I grabbed 3 of them to help offset the fact that none of them are strong, but of 3, at least one will perform every week.

DEF

9.07. Baltimore, DEF2, BYE 8

16.10 New Orleans Saints, DEF 2, BYE 4

I like taking a top D, and being able to not have to worry about the spot. BAL is a stud defense that I paired with NO. NO came out of nowhere last year and I don't see much regression. The have a monster DL, and I see them trying to patch up their weakness in the secondary.

K

15.07 Josh Brown, SEA, K 8, BYE 8

17.07 Jeff Reed, PIT, PK21, BYE 6

I'm in the school of thought as every else...they're kickers. I have 2. Different bye weeks. Bully for me.

Conclusion

There were a lot of runs in this draft, and I believe I came out stronger for those runs. I started some of the runs or was at the top of them, where the true value is. The name of the game is surviving, and I have no issues with depth or byes. The only mistake I may have made is not selecting a better QB2 when I had the chance.

Thank you. I am not enamored with this team at all and had to fight the 14 hole. I think your analysis (and Bloom's) is fair. I do think my RBs are a little better (since it is PPR), but overall, I think I am a middle of the pack team unless something very good breaks my way.

Agree with the evals from Bloom and RN. The reason I didn't include byes in the position grade was because it was just going into my overall grade (Which I conviently forgot to list :( ) as a B- in large part to the Bye Week 5 disaster.

I agree that the WR's are sub-par, but I honestly think they'll do alright. Only disagreement I have is that my WR core is old. Bruce is ancient, but the rest aren't in that league. :( I think I'll get a WR2 out of picks 8-10, otherwise I wouldn't of waited so long.

4.06. Donovan McNabb, PHI, QB4, BYE 59.11. Byron Leftwich, JAC, QB26, BYE 4I'm happy with these two. I'm glad I took a top QB in the 4th instead of waiting until 5.11 like I had originally planned. Leftwich is a fine filler and I have him rated higher than most. If McNab plays a full season then I'm greatB+

Deshaun Foster, CAR, RB40, BYE 711.11 Chris Perry, CIN, RB 52, BYE 5This was a frustrating position for me because I always felt like there was little value when it got back to me. In rounds 9 and 11 I was targeting Ricky Williams and\or Corey Dillon, but FM snaked both of them one spot in front of me.C+\B-

Hasselbeck is solid when healthy and I have no problems with where he went. He'll serve you well. Culpepper on the other hand... he may never be a relevant FF starter again. And that's it, so wow at having no depth.

C+ purely from depth / injury issues.

LJ and Jones cover your RB #1 and #2; and Jones should be motivated to do well in his new home. I don't buy the LJ breaking down thing, not yet anyway, and even if he does you'll have him for most of the season I figure. If Thomas is still the starter in BUF at the start of the season you're looking golden here. Assuming Thomas ends up getting replaced, you still have depth from him and Davenpoop, so things are looking good here.

Evans I think finishes in the top 10 WR this year again. Chambers was a huge disappointment last season and really showed everyone how weak he is at actually catching the ball. I think he'll rebound to some degree, but he's not somebody you like hanging your hat around. Berian is a fine #3 capable of putting up big weeks. No idea what to expect from the JAC passing game, I think Williams ends up as a servicable #3 unless something major changes. Crayton, Lloyd and Stokely are all long shots, but could give you 1-3 weeks of solid numbers.

So a #1 WR with upside, an ok #2 and a bunch of ways to put up #2/3 points from the other guys. You just don't know when.

Overall Grade: C+/C

The trio of TE's really aren't anything special and at QB if Hassebeck goes down, your as good as gone. The singleton kicker boggles me since you took one in round 14, I'm suprised you didn't just take one more. I made it a point to completely ignore K's till the last second. The lack of depth is going to be obvious on week 8 when LJ and Hasselbeck are on bye togheter. Good luck survivng that.

4.14. Michael Vick, ATL, QB7, BYE 8

8.14. Matt Schaub, HOU, QB22, BYE 10

13.03 Chris Simms, TB, QB 33, BYE 10

---

Vick is great in this format and Schaub as a #2 means you offset much of the risk factor in taking the Houston QB. They should be a fine tandem; and you get a nice bonus with Schaub to Andre Johnson each week.

Simms is a non-factor as far as I can tell. Any reason why you took him?

B+/A-

1.03. Stephen Jackson, SL, RB3, BYE 9

12.14 Brian Leonard, ROOKIE, RB56

---

Jackson will give you great numbers week to week, but I'm looking at the rest of your RB and am just lost. Julius Jones as your #2 guy? When he's fighting off MBIII at best and losing the starting job at worst? Seems risky. Then you follow that up with Chris Brown who hasn't been healthy in a while and two rooks. It seems like you had a nice easy road to a great RB core that just got completely mucked up by high risk picks.

B on S-Jax's back.

15.03 Roddy White, ATL, WR 82, BYE 8

20.14 Antonio Chatman, CIN, WR104, BYE 5

---

You made up for many of the RB issues here. Scoring Johnson and Boldin was excellent and then following up with Curtis and Henderson basically gave you two #1 FF scorers and two potential #2 FF scorers, whose floors are WR3 numbers. Roddy White and Chatman give you some solid depth to round out the core.

A

9.03. Owen Daniels, HOU, TE15, BYE 10

19.03 Dan Campbell, DET, TE32, BYE 6

The HOU and DET TE's. Why does that not inspire me with confidence? I think Daniels has potential considering the WR situation, but expecting anything more than TE 13-14 numbers from these two is pushing it.

Well I guess I will be the first to start grading some teamsRestless Natives8.08. Steve McNair, BAL, QB20, BYE 811.09 JaMarcus Russell, ROOKIE, QB 31,This is the one position i let fall so hopefully the rest of my team can make up for the slack. With McNair as my number 1 i am just hoping for consistancy, and I am just hoping for some big games from Russell but not counting on it. Grade D+
McNair hasn't been better than a #2 QB in FF for the last 3 years. His age is also another risk factor. I think Russell ends up starting this season and does OK, but relying on him is a stretch.D
1.09. Willie Parker, PIT, RB9, BYE 63.09. Cadillac Williams, TB, RB22, BYE 106.08. Marshawn Lynch, ROOKIE, RB33, 18.08 Maurice Morris, SEA, RB65, BYE 819.09 Michael Robinson, SF, RB 69, BYE 6Very happy with my top 2, and I think that Lynch has great upside if he lands in the right spot. My depth is going to be my key here cause i dont believe Gore can stay healthy 2 yrs in a row.Grade B+
FWP and Caddy was an excellent way to kick things off. Lynch if he lands in BUF or GB will most likely be the main back and Robinson was a nice pick-up in the 19th. I like how you risk-managed this set of guys. Yeah Caddy and Lynch have risks attached, but you've got a better idea of where they end up versus other RB's taken around now.B+
2.08. Torry Holt, SL, WR4, BYE 95.09. Calvin Johnson, rookie, WR26, 7.09. Greg Jennings, GB, WR42, BYE 79.09. Eddie Kennison, KC, WR51, BYE 812.08 Robert Meachum, ROOKIE, WR 72, 15.09 Tedd Ginn Jr., ROOK, WR8320.08 Shaun McDonald, DET, WR 101, BYE 6This is my boom or bust postition with all my rookies, but I got a great steal with McDonald in the 20th. Bye weeks shouldn't be an issue for me at all and that is the best thing about this position.Grade B-
That many rookie WR's scares the hell out of me. After Holt it's like, 'Where's the other relevant WR's?'. Kennison ends up as your #2 and Jennings put up OK numbers last year, which hopefully he'll improve upon. Everyone else is just completely up in the air though. Agree with the group that McDonald was a nice last round pick.C+ due to how many unknowns are here.
4.08. Todd Heap, BAL, TE4, BYE 810.08 Eric Johnson, NO, TE18, BYE 4This could easily be the strength of my team. Can't believe that i got Johnson in the 10th. He should be a great fit in NO if he returns to his old form.Grade A
Usually only Gates or Tony G. teams get this high a rank, but Heap put up great numbers last season and Eric Johnson just ended up in one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL.A
14.08 Kansas City, DEF 12, BYE 817.09 San Francisco 49ers, DEF 29, BYE 62 defenses with great upside but not to sure how consistant they will be.Grade C
Consider the division SF plays in. You'll be fine here most weeks.B-
13.09 Adam Vinatieri, IND, K 1, BYE 616.08 Olindo Mare, NO, PK 15, BYE 4This is probably the 2nd strongest part of team. Getting 2 kickers for what should be 2 of the highest scoring teams in the league.Grade A
Kickers. meh.Overall Grade: C+It's hard to really rate this team until the WR situation shakes itself out. You've got a huge weakness at QB that'll cost you practically every week, but if the WR's break your way you might be able to live with that.

Quick Poll / Question for everyone though.

@My 3.04 pick

I could've taken Housh, Evans or Walker. Who would you of taken there?

@My 5.04 pick

I took Crumpler because I thought he was the last guy in his tier and that there was a huge drop-off after him. Do you agree or think I should've ate it at TE and taken a WR there?

Thanks for the write-ups thus far guys!

QB

Like the Palmer pick a lot and Frye isnt to shabby, but at least u should have the Cleveland QB handcuffed.Grade A-

RB

Good squad in a ppr league and that is what you need in this format. The only problem here is that none are guaranteed starters but all will score every week.Grade B+

Good recieving core but IMO TO is overrated and not willing to put the time in the video room to better prepare himself for his declining skill level.Grade B

A mediocre group at best but you do have 3 of them.Grade C

DEF

Two very good defenses and a great special teams in NO if they let Bush continue returning.Grade A+

Conclusion

There were a lot of runs in this draft, and I believe I came out stronger for those runs. I started some of the runs or was at the top of them, where the true value is. The name of the game is surviving, and I have no issues with depth or byes. The only mistake I may have made is not selecting a better QB2 when I had the chance.
