pence for peavy? (1 Viewer)

I'm in first. 4x4 NL only. 10 teams

I have a $10 Hunter Pence ($10 next year too) who I'm probably going to move for Jake Peavy ($18/$22 next year).

I can get back Moises Alou or maybe Pat Burrell, Shawn Green or Randy Winn.

I'm probably going to include a $10 Brad Hennessey (trades have to be balanced).

Thoughts?

what place are you in? Personally, I'd keep Pence, especially in a keeper league. I like Peavy a lot, but that arm has a lot of innings on it already in his career. Plus, pitchers are much more unpredictable than hitters. Just last year, Peavy had an ERA > 4.00, a mediocre whip and went 11-14. He gets a fair share of k's, but in a 4x4 league, you don't get anything for those.

Odd, I was really tempted to offer that same deal to the Peavy owner. I was just waiting to see how Peavy did on Sunday.
