Pennington a week 1 wonder (1 Viewer)

I know he looked good and I know he will have to throw a lot with a lack of a running game, but I also know he will not face a defense as soft as Tennessee's again for a while. How do you think he will do against the tougher D's?

On paper he has one of the easiest QB schedules this year. That's why many of us were touting him as someone to watch, and so far he looks decent.

Pennington has the projected easiest schedule in the league. New England's defense was even worse than Tennessee's last year.

Call it homerism, but I truly think the Patriots' secondary is much improved over last year. Harrison returning puts the hurt back, and the fear in some WRs. That's 2 games against a better pass D. The other weak pass Ds left are HOU in week 12 and Oak in week 17, so that's only really one. The other Ds are good against the pass, or have such bad offenses most teams run out the clock (Buf, Ind, Jac, Mia, Det, Cle, Chi, GB, Buf, Min, Mia). He has a much tougher passing schedule then last year's stats are showing. He'll still probably have a few good games, but not many.
