So whats the new deadline? Should we go ahead and make it Sept 7th just to be safe. FBG, this is unacceptable. The only thing i can think of is that you want to include the newest projections. well at some point you have to make a cut off and just go with it. youve had 3 projections updates since the orginal deadline. The article isn't even useful for me anymore as ive had both of my drafts, but I still can't believe that this can happen.I'd venture to say that 40% of people have had their primary draft already and another 20% probably will this week. You'd think you'd want at least the majority of your customers to benefit from your content.Dissatisfied customer here.
What are you paying? Twenty bucks? Relax dood.
You really think it's OK Norwood? Alright, then have I got a deal for you. If you send me $15, I'll send you all my draft articles and predictions whenever I feel like it. That's 75% of the price of FBG.

Wow I did not realize how important these Perfect Draft articles are to some people. They're sure not the reason I subscribe to FBG.100% satisfied customer here Joe.
Not like I will die without them, but I have been waiting for the Perfect Auction article since last preseason...
I am sorry for you about that, I really am but I don't read 85% of the articles printed here anymore. It is not that they aren't quality articles I just don't find that they provide any more substantive information than I will get from discussion in the FBG forums.A few years ago I read every article as they came out, now not so much.I subscribe primarily for the daily e-mail updates and Joes in-season observations e-mail every week. I get what I pay for and I consider it a good deal.Like I said 100% satisfied customer.

well since the daily emails are free you are paying all that money for joes in season observations. how bout if the articles that you like so much came out a week after they were supposed to? how would you feel then?yes maybe you dont care about the article but the fact is that some of us do. so you are going to jump on us for wanting the content that we like? You dont own firestone tires so those people that do and are complaining they are faulty shouldnt do so?

its closer to 30 bucks DOOD, but what difference does it make. If you go out to dinner and order a nice steak and you wait an hour and still no steak, so you ask your waiter where it is, he tells you it will be out in 10 minutes. well 20 minutes go by and still no steak, so you ask again where is your steak and he says this time, well maybe another 10 minutes i hope.....are you not going to complain? youve been waiting for yout steak for an hour and a half and theres still no sign of it. But ya know what its only $20 bucks...so i guess theyll get to my steak when they feel like it. i mean hell they must be working really hard on it for it to take this long. its worth waiting 2 hours for that perfect steak. give me a break.
not really a good analogy.let's say your order caesar salad, a bowl of crab bisque, 12 oz. filet, asparagus, potatoes au gratin, a manhattan, and cheesecake for dessert, all for the bargain price of $24.95. Everything is delicious. Only problem is half way thru dinner you ask for some extra butter and the waiter is 10 minutes late bringing it. more analogous IMHO.
well its more like one of the items you ordered doesnt come, for instance your asparagus. you are ok with getting the asparagus after youve finished everything else including the dessert? its not EXTRA butter, its more like wanting butter period. so you ask for butter.....waiter says be back in 2 minutes. 10 minutes roll by, you ask waiter again for the butter...he says oh i was busy ill go get it now be back in a minute....all the while your asparagus is sitting there getting cold because you are waiting for the butter to put on it.....waiter comes by again sans butter and you have to ask again. you giving this waiter a good tip? you think you had good service? FBG is a service that we pay for, they should do what they say they are going to.listen i still love the food (content) of the place, but just wish the service would be better. I know people will keep paying because of the great food (content) but imagine how business would increase if the service matched the food. in this case meeting deadlines.the simple solution - DON'T set deadlines, or give yourself an ample grace period. problem solved. but when you put the deadline out there, then you have to live up to it. period.

Which articles? I don't care about any of them that much. No article printed anywhere is so pivotal that it will impact my draft, so no, I am not bothered if something comes out late. Heck the Perfect Draft articles are more interesting to me after my draft as a point for comparison. That's my point I get what I am paying for. You chose this bully pulpit but you don't own it.
yes maybe you dont care about the article but the fact is that some of us do. so you are going to jump on us for wanting the content that we like? You dont own firestone tires so those people that do and are complaining they are faulty shouldnt do so?
Hyperbole much?

the amount of content and data that these guys churn out is staggering. one article is probably less than 0.5% of the total content.that't extra butter, it just so happens that you like a lot of butter :D

here's the thing -- who says they're deadlines? if they say they expect to have something done by a particular date, that's not exactly a deadline. now, if you're bothered that they don't put things out when they expect to, that's one thing -- but it's not the same as missing a "deadline"would you really rather they didn't tell you when they expect things to be ready? just release material whenever it's ready?

its not like this is the only thing that has ever been late or ever will be late. its a recurring theme it seems. this is just the latest example. if FBG were always timely and this was an exception to the rule there would be no complaints, but unfortunately thats not the case.im acutally more of a margarine person myself.

i would prefer they tell us when they will be ready and then they are ready.but if they are going to tell us when they will be ready, and then they wont be then yes i would rather them not say anything and just release it. at least then its not failing expectations.

My projections are accurate above 90% historically. I'm still working on them but I expect to have everything ready by the end of the night tonight. PM me for my paypal address where you can send your money, and I'll get them too you ASAP.I'm especially strong with my WRs and I have great info on Jurevicius. I have an insider on the ground and will be able to tell you, at a guaranteed 95% accuracy, exactly what he will produce this year and where to take him.Still working on some last minute tweaks and I'll have that info to you as soon as I feel like it. Send in that money now.

Last year, in-season updates to Lineup Dominator and weekly projections were frequently late, past the waiver wire and weekly trade deadlines in most leagues... extremely frustrating. I'd say this site is late more often than not on their "goal" deadlines. When waivers run on Tuesday nights in many leagues, and trades have a 2-day "veto" period in many leagues, telling me on Friday night that so-and-so is a good start this week because of a matchup doesn't help at all.

Hey Guys,

Please let's not go here. We need to get these done and we're going hard as we can on them. David is workign very hard there. But please let's not get to the "do the thinking yourself" stuff.

I promise, we'll get these as fast as we can for you.
