I couldn’t find any posts on here about this recent news. I have collected for many decades. Thankfully most of my collection I obtained in person.

Doesn’t surprise me in the least. Sports memorabilia and cards have been scammy for a long time but nobody seems to care as long as it’s authenticated by somebody and can be passed along. I mean the most famous, valuable card in history is a trim job. There’s entire website threads dedicated to before and after pics of PSA graded cards. Cards examined by AI and computers as being the same card, once in a PSA 5 holder, trimmed, touched up etc and now in a 9. I just assumed autos and jerseys etc were just as bad if not more so.

Yeah its too early to tell and think he exaggerated his numbers in his final manifesto but still dealt a blow to the industry. But to your point unfortunately there always has been and will be bad apples when the potential is there to make a lot of money. Makes you wonder how many of these other forgery rings are out there. More importantly how many dealers and the large companies just ignored it?

The price of an autograph is nuts to me. I mean it's crazy, for what? Look at me, I'm 50 and got this other man's name on paper. Sorry, cardboard. And no disrespect to cocktail napkins.

Feces might be more valuable, with a DNA authentication stamp of approval. Yep, that TP smear is in fact, "from" Gary Anderson, it's real!

Wait, why not hair while we're at it? Hair got screwed in all this. Hair should be where it's at. Super easy. Clean. Authentic. And keeps coming for the most part. Jordan hair would be going up like Krypto with such limited supplies remaining. Tiger too, would be taking off like Nvidia.

I wonder if pubic hair would go for more? I think it would.
