Peter King Picks PIT To Win Super Bowl (1 Viewer)

If the defense stays healthy all year, they're a top 5 team in the NFL and one of a handful of teams with a realistic shot of winning it all. Given their track record and recent bad luck with injuries, thats a very, very big IF.

Most Steelers fans were just hoping to get through the first four games with a 2-2 record so naturally we are all thrilled with the start. Still, the game this week against the Ravens is huge. Baltimore will be the best defense they have faced to date and will be a real challenge to the offensive line, both in pass protection and run blocking. If the o-line gets the job done up front then Batch is more the capable of running the offense and of course the Steelers defense should be up to the task.It won't be easy as the Ravens need to win to avoid dropping 2 games behind the Steelers so they will be fired up. I am glad this game is at home (I'll be there!) instead of Baltimore.Whether or not they have shot at the SB is way too premature regardless of what they do this week. They still have the hardest part of their schedule coming up, including matchups with the Saints, Jets, Patriots, Dolphins, the Bengals twice and another game with the Ravens. They certainly look great now but a lot can happen between now and the end of the season ...

So how's the prediction looking now? I have to admit that I thought it was crazy at the beginning of the season, but AFC Championship (at worst) isn't too shabby.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut, I suppose.

Isn't it true that King changed his pick to New England after the regular season? I can't find a link, but I swear I heard an interview with him where he changed his pick.

He's just another talking head. He's connected because of his job and who he is. That's about as much as you should trust Peter King. He picked the Bears to win the SB last year. He changed his pick this year. Use King for inside knowledge of other people. As for his own knowledge, skip it.
