Peyton and weeks 15-17 (1 Viewer)

It's never too early to start getting your lineup in order, if you feel you have a good chance to make the playoff's. I'm feeling pretty comfortable with my chance's in my league, but as I start looking towards the playoff's, I start to wonder if Manning will be there for me when it matters. My league is funny, in that they decided to have the playoff's start week 15, ending on week 17 with the championship game. I'm 7-1, have a pretty "stacked" team, but if you lose week 15, then you win squat! My backup to Manning is Favre, and he could probably still be playing come fantasy playoff time, and he has a good matchup week 15 with Detroit. I was just wondering if anyone is looking at the same thing this year, and wondered if there was anybody thinking of trading away Manning in the next few weeks because maybe they have their division wrapped up, for someone who would be in the thick of the playoff race. Someone like Carson Palmer or maybe Brees.

At least wait to see if the Colts beat NE next week. If NE wins, the Colts will have to play the rest of the regular season to try to keep up with NE for the #1 AFC seed. Do not make any move until then - period.

I have a league championship week 17, and I have both Peyton Manning and Grossman. Both could sit that week. Trade deadline is before week 11 games, so by then I will have a better idea of my playoff chances. Peyton usually starts every game, but only plays a series or less when they don't have to win week 17.

Once they've clinched home field Peyton sits.

same as it ever was, same as it ever was, same as it ever was

All you can do is get you roster in order. That is the good and bad of having a Manning. His team has been doing so good that by playoff time if they are not going for the no. 1 division or trying to tie the dolphins record he is getting benched.

As a Colts homer, I truly believe that Dungy plays Peyton atleast the first half of every game this season. A half from Manning is probably as good as a full game for QB 13-20. Therefore, I'd keep him.

The Colts saw what happened the last 2 years when they didn't have the 1st striing O play a meaningful series for 2 or 3 weeks.

Plus, the Colts still have a tough schedule ahead. There is no guarantee they will go 13-0 and obliterate the AFC like last year.

I am so afraid that Manning will sit.I was just offered Brees for Manning.I love Manning, but thinking of doing it...
