Peyton Hillis (1 Viewer)

Didn't see a discussion - if there is one could you please point me there.

I currently have Hillis holding down a dynasty roster spot. It's a spot I could free up and grab a developmental player for next year if I chose to. I just don't have any type of read on whether Hillis will figure into the Broncos RB plans next year. Yeah, I know it's the Broncos RB we're talking about here, but he did a commendable job when forced into action. My only concern is that they'll have a full offseason to reload at RB and he isn't a great fit for their preferred zone blocking scheme. Fish or cut bait on this guy? . . .

My guess is he will move back to Fullback. I think the Torain will be the guy to own in Dynasty

Oh, this is awkward... Someone should have told you, he's a white fullback. Hopefully that clears it up.

Likely no value at all. This may be the year the Rat goes RB in round 1, if not look for round 2.

I also like Torain as the possible future back but possibly not even for the start of the 2009 season. He may still be recovering from his ACL injury for the early part of 2009.

Why would he do that? DEN rushing game has been fine/very good.
You need to rethink that, the running game has been very good for the last 2-3 weeks and had some descent spurts here and there with Pittman but it hasn't been good the whole year by any stretch. Call me crazy but i believe Chris Wells, Knowshon Moreno or LeSean McCoy would improve their running game and take some pressure off of Cutler.

Anybody counting on Torain for anything but being injured is having wishful thinking. He is a walking injury and always will be.

totally disagree, the guy showed what he can do and he can play. He will be involved next year and has value imo.

:goodposting: , not at all. When healthy, their running game was good all season, save a couple of rough games. that means running game in general, not limited to indv. players. And of course Wells, Moreno, or other high draft picks would improve their running game. The question is, what makes them a better team overall. Using those draft picks for RBs or elsewhere. With history as a guide, Shanny likes bargain deals on RBs and to spend his top picks elsewhere. It's a system that has worked, and still works.
