its was a bad run for Manning owners, 1 TD during weeks 14 and 15... were you able to survive?

Week 14 - I beat a team that owned both Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders

Week 15 - I should beat a team that owns both Peyton and Julius Thomas.

Better lucky than good!

 
Sweating, up 16.2 with Graham going vs. Maclin and Forte in standard.

Would be novel of Jimmy to show up and bail me out for the first time in awhile, or I'm another done Peyton owner.

 
Yes and I've started Gordon the last two weeks as well. LeVeon Bell and Gronkowski have bailed me out and the Rams defense last week. I don't have high hopes for Manning next week but there's no way I can't start him.

 
No. Lost in week 14 during round 1. Up against Cam and his massive day which didn't help either.

same here,

week 14: I was the 6th seed playing the 3rd who had Demaryius (plus a couple of other bad luck guys that week).

week 15: played the Denver Homer (Peyton, Ball, Hillman, CJ Anderson, Sanders, JThomas, Ware, Marshall) who didn't lose a game... had his lowest score of yr today as I slipped into the SB.

Hes either hurt or the denver staff is trying to prove they can run the ball or they are slow playing the rest of the league until the playoffs.

 
I may be going to the finals with Peyton but I have OBJ and LeVeon Bell lol

I am up by 69 pts and my opponent has kenny stills/alshon jeffery playing tomorrow. If I lose its going to take a Christmas Miracle.

Lost last week to the team with Julio Jones and Jordy Nelson. I was up 70+ points going into the Monday nights game. I led the league in points scored and points given up. Leading points scored this week too in the 5th place game.

went 11-2 in the regular season, and peyton (along w/ the rest of my team) crapped the bed in week 14. won't be drafting him next season.

 
My one team that starts him made it. Well at least I have 20 points and forte against his cutler. I'm lucky enough to also have Charles, Forte, Lynch, Green, and Olsen so its rare that ALL of those guys bust in a single week

 
Close to making it thanks to Dez Bryant and Jeremy Hill. Just need around 20yards from Ingram tomorrow.

 
Are we just pushing this crap under the rug?

Something is amiss with Peyton and I am not talking about his horrible Poppa "a$sbag" Johns commercials.

I got lucky with Eli last week, played a crappy defense, but now I have to make a decision on Peyton this week... is he going to be the duck throwing, hand off 40 times QB that has scored less in three games combined than he did for every single other game?

I realize the offense is changing... and I was like OK. But now I am more concerned about HIM, like something happened, neck tweaked, arm hurt... bulbous head hit a shower stall door...

Anyone have any info on this? He healthy? He just sucks now? HE will go off this week? Inside info?

Yeah 20 passes attempted for 2 games in a row is a pretty decent indication that things have changed for that offense. Whether it is injury, age creeping up on Manning or just realizing that they don't have to pass that much to beat most teams, who knows. I dont think they will pass the ball more than 20-25 times a game unless forced into a shootout.

Can the Bengals force this team into a shootout? Do you bench him for Eli, RG3, Dalton or other WW dregs? I'm thinking the answers are no to both questions.

Something to be said for this - in our league the Rodgers, Manning and Luck owners were 11-2, 10-3 and 10-3 in the regular season. Manning was knocked out in Round 1 wildcard game. Luck and Rodgers owners had bye and were knocked out in the semifinals. Those teams were LOADED, but one bad week in a H2H and it is all for naught. What did the Manning and Rodgers owners have in common - both were shut down by the Buffalo Bills when it mattered. Never would have guessed it.

 
Barely survived week 14 on a Christmas miracle from Julio Jones on Monday night...

This past week I scored the most points in the league to advance to the finals, but that was on the shoulders of OBJ and Demaryius... not Peyton. My opponent had to play Tannehill since Cam was out, and he outscored Peyton by a solid amount in our league.

I don't think the Broncos are necessarily slow playing anyone... I think they legitimately want to run the ball in the cold and keep the defense rested/control the clock. Also doesn't hurt that Julius Thomas hasn't been 100% during this recent stretch. What's frustrating for Peyton's owners is that it's able to work for them most of the time. Cinci could force them into a shootout, but SD was never really close to doing so.

I will say it was rather widely reported that Peyton was battling the flu last week, so there's that... had to take an IV before the game to even play. Hopefully he's set to go and we get a vintage 300+ with 3TDs from Peyton this week.

I have Romo on my bench, but here is the problem. My gut tells me that Romo is gonna outperform Peyton this week, however, my head is asking my gut if it's crazy.

I have to ride with Peyton. I just have to. If Romo goes off and I lose with him on my bench, I will be disappointed. If Peyton goes off and I lose with him on my bench, I'm gonna go crazy.

What does everyone else think?? Would you dare bench Peyton if you had a Romo on your bench??

Not just Romo. Say you had Big Ben or Eli or some other decent mid to low end QB1...
