Peyton owners to eliminate many teams from the playoffs this week (1 Viewer)

Peyton Manning has been awesome throughout his career when playing in moderate temps and in the cozy confines of a dome.

The weather in Denver Thursday evening is expected to be clear with temps in the upper 30s, a mild breeze and 0% chance of rain. You could not ask for better conditions.

San Diego gives up a ton of points to QBs, on the road and in what should be a very high scoring game.

It was a nice ride for us non Peyton owners ... but it is all coming to an inevitable ending @ the hands of the best fantasy player this season.

Just as you predicted. Peyton eliminated from our playoffs this week. Sitting in the number one slot with a bye I was fearful of having to face him. Thankfully McCown was the better QB this week.

Man, after one drive this looked like a 5 TD game. But then San Diego got the ball, and decided to run all the clock. How many possessions were there in this game? Seemed like about half the possessions Denver averages per game throughout the year.

Peyton's weapons have been highly successful and likely owned by semi-finalists as well, probably not all on the same team, and I have a feeling Andre Caldwell wasn't one of them started. For example, my Peyton went up against his Decker. I'm OK with the results there.

Peyton's weapons have been highly successful and likely owned by semi-finalists as well, probably not all on the same team, and I have a feeling Andre Caldwell wasn't one of them started. For example, my Peyton went up against his Decker. I'm OK with the results there.

This is definitely true in one of my leagues as the final four team had three of the teams saturated with all the Broncos players going H2H with one another. All it really did was start the weekend off with 30-34 scores instead of 48-52. Maybe the one team in our playoffs that doesn't have the Broncos players might have a chance now.

Yup. Had Manning up against Decker, J. Thomas, Ball and Prater. Even with that last minute FG, I'm still up by 1 point with only 1 player done, while he has 4 done.

This was a win for me. If I lose, it will not be because of Manning, but because the rest of my team will have played poorly.

WHAT ON FANTASY EARTH HAPPENED? Peyton needs to stop getting too cute...ala thinking too much, and just throw to his studs. 80% of the snaps he doesnt even look at D Thomas. So frsutrating. Studs are studs, throw them the ball. See what Gordon does in Cleveland? And yeah, everyone and their granmother knows hes getting all the looks. Holy crow, thanks Broncos offense for a huge letdown....no thanks to any miraculous help by Gates.

Im sure you weren't cursing the Broncos offense every other week of the year. Peyton always has spread the ball out to every option available.
