Buddy went to Vegas last week and we plunked decent coin down on Brooks with smaller wagers on Rose, Fowler, Bryson and Kuchar and then moonshot wagers on Watson, Simpson, Kisner and Kim (all >65/1)...
i'd guess only because of his price. Why is everyone avoiding DJ, who’s had so much success here?
-14? half that, maybe. Closer to 5-6.zoonation said:This open is going to be epic. Winning score will be -14. Tiger, Koepka and DJ will all have a shot on Sunday. Rory sadly won’t be a factor.
Koepka for win. Sucks but that’s my feeling. This course can’t hurt him.
Promptly doubles 8.Scott Piercy misses the cut last week. 5 under and leading by 2 today because of course.
I purposely worked out a 3.5 hour layover so I can sit in front of a tv with a beer without any distractions that I’d get at home or work. Hopefully I’ll be able to walk to my plane.Sneds, Koepka, Spieth, Rose and Tiger all going off late should make for an enjoyable evening of TV golf here in the eastern time zone.
I have a hard time seeing that. They'll let it firm up and the scores will go up.Tons of guys under par. I'll predict it will take double-digits to win this year.
Yeah, the greens will be like waffles in the afternoon.I have a hard time seeing that. They'll let it firm up and the scores will go up.
Seems gettable this morning but us open winner has been double digits under only one time in something like 18 years. they'll tweak that thing.double digits for sure.
I think Day 1 was more to see how everyone did as a whole. They caught too much crap the past couple of years to make it crazy tough. I think they're erring on the side of easy this year, but will be able to dial it in harder.Seems gettable this morning but us open winner has been double digits under only one time in something like 18 years. they'll tweak that thing.
Eagles Eagles errrrrrrrrrywhere......
Hope you’re right. I just don’t think the course is long enough. I know it’s a second shot course but these guys will be firing at pins with wedges out of the fairway a ton.Seems gettable this morning but us open winner has been double digits under only one time in something like 18 years. they'll tweak that thing.
Here are the results of the Majors played at Pebble Beach:Hope you’re right. I just don’t think the course is long enough. I know it’s a second shot course but these guys will be firing at pins with wedges out of the fairway a ton.
Koepka is going to shoot -7 tonight.
point taken. But they are playing a different game now. Here are the results of the Majors played at Pebble Beach:
1972 US Open - Jack Nicklaus won with +2
1977 PGA Championship - Lanny Wadkins -6
1982 US Open - Tom Watson -6
2000 US Open - Tiger Woods -12 (15 FIFTEEN strokes ahead!)
2010 US Open - Graeme McDowell E
I dunno, I think this can be pretty challenging, unless your name is Tiger Woods and the year is 2000.
We'll see; things can change from day to day in this.point taken. But they are playing a different game now.
Honing his game for the senior tour. He missed the cut by one stroke at Augusta this year.Cant be that hard, Mike Weir is only +2.![]()
Ya, Augusta is a good fit for him. he's also done well at the PB Pro Am in the past so I suspect this course suits him well too.Honing his game for the senior tour. He missed the cut by one stroke at Augusta this year.
