Phrases/terms that need to be retired immediately (2 Viewers)

"plug and play" really needs to be limited.

I need a new headlight bulb for my car. The online description includes the phrase "plug and play".

If I'm other with another woman I'm going to tell her "No need for a condom...I've had a vasectomy. Plug n' play, baby."

Lately I've noticed a lot of love for "I don't love." Seems to show up in fantasy sports a lot, like in Rotoworld updates ("we don't love Harang because of his flyball tendencies, but pitching in Safeco will help and he's good for Ks"). The other day someone responded to my trade inquiry with "I don't love your offer." Ugh. I want this to stop.

"Rapey" has always bugged me because it seems to get applied to just about any unlikable guy liking a gal.

nothingburger

Whoever uses/writes this should get a swift kick in the cooch every time someone has to hear/read it.

I don't care if this was mentioned already, it sucks so ####### hard it should be called out until it's ended.

Whenever someone posts a pic of a nice rump, someone always follows up by posting, "dat ###".
I agree. What's the point if it's used all the time? It should be outlawed for all but the finest of derrieres. We need more quality control on it.

Did somebody already mention "I'd tell you but then I'd have to kill you"?

Got old a couple of years after Top Gun but people are still saying this hoping for a laugh 25 years later.

Socialize as a transitive verb.

You need to socialize that process with your department.

I've socialized the concept with the client but we need to take a deeper dive.

Great, let's socialize that with the rest of the group and build a consensus.

Girlfriend asks me if I want to go out for "c0cks and apps".
That's the worst, definitely needs retiring.
To her credit, she does it with a twinkle in her eye, and around other people to get a rise out of the uninitiated, but as a guy, WTF do you do with that?
Not sure what to do other than an equally cheesy commenf about the "all you can eat" buffet of appetizing c0ck that you are offering at a discount.

"You bring the apps" is about the best I can come up with.

That's pretty good. Hard not to be stupid and cheesy when responding to that.

Oh, it's accompanied by finger pistols and wannabe Lothario expressions, but yeah.

No other way to play it. She did start it after all.

I prefer "You bring the c0cks"...

I'd like to know where these get started. I hear one of these stupid business-speak terms in my company and then I find out it's become universal. It's always the smug pricks that say them.
