Pick #6 (1 Viewer)

Can everyone with a recent 12 team draft list what pick these players were taken:D.WilliamsS.Smith (Car)M.ColstonR.GrantK.SmithA.RodgersTIA!!!
From my non-ppr draft on Wednesday (is that recent enough?) :D . Williams: 2.02S. Smith (CAR): 2.12M. Colston: 3.11R. Grant: 3.12K. Smith: 5.06A. Rodgers: 2.05

I have the #6 pick in my 10-team draft (non-ppr - 4 point passing TDs). I'll end up with either LT, Deangelo, Forte or S Jackson (ugh) as my first pick. That isn't my question. I'm seriously thinking about grabbing Rodgers in round 3 (#26) if he's there - since I agree with one of the FBG writer's rankings that Rodgers should be the #1 QB off the board - but I still don't want to reach too much for him, either. Thoughts?

Edit: I'm known in this league as the guy that waits for QBs - so this would be a surprise to everyone else.

6th pick in a draft last weekend - 12 team, 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 W/R, TE, K, Def PPR. 1st 5 picks went like this:

1.06 Larry Fitzgerald

2.07 Chris Johnson (shocked he was there)

3.06 Kevin Smith

4.07 Dwayne Bowe

5.06 Chad Ochocinco

I felt like I had a good core at this point and went on to pick up players I had targeted. Liked how the WR / RB approach worked for me.

My 0.02

12 team 1pt PPR and IDP, 6pts all TD's, 1pt/20yds passing 1pt/10yds rushing/receiving RB-WR, 1pt/5yd receiving for TE's. Start 1QB/1RB/2WR/1TE/1 Flex RB-WR-TE/2DL/2LB/2DB.

I know I've got a few fish in my league, I'm also defending league champ, won 2 of last 4 years. Anyways here are the first 5 picks in my draft.

Adrian Peterson

Matt Forte

Michael Turner

Frank Gore

Jason Witten

My team:

1.06 MJD (Just about wet myself he was there, but played it cool, calmly made the pick, but you bet your rear I had a big s-eating grin on the inside.)

2.07 Brady (Same as my first pick, holy cow, if he's still here, I'm tripping all over myself, I was contemplating him in the first, and to get him in the second was gravy, admittedly during the first round of the draft we had watched the clip of him getting pounded into the turf by Haynesworth.)

3.06 Steven Jackson (I have no idea why he lasted this long, another happy pick at this point.)

4.07 Dwayne Bowe (Best reciever left at this point, and the dropoff after him was pretty steep so I pulled the trigger.)

5.06 Braylon Edwards (At the time I said this could be the pick of the draft for me, or really hurt.)

6.07 Kevin Smith (Another shock he was still here, dumbfounded I could get him as my third back.)

7.06 Santonio Holmes (In case Braylon goes bad.)

8.07 Trent Cole

9.06 Justin Tuck

10.07 John Carlson (Now I kind of regret this pick, Zach Miller and him were the two best remaining, I'm kind of wishing I would have went Miller.)

11.06 Kerry Rhodes

12.07 Lawrence Timmons

13.06 David Garrard

14.07 Gary Brackett

to round out the roster: Chris Horton, James Laurinaitus, Aaron Schobel, Roman Harper, Ted Ginn, Chester Taylor, Robert Mathis, Fred Taylor, EJ Henderson, Josh Morgan, Randy McMichael, Atari Bigby

I like my team, I think I have a good shot at repeating. :lmao:

Good updates, keep em coming.

I'm liking the chance of getting K.Smith, Colston, or Rodgers at 3.06 after taking best RB in the 1st and best WR in the 2nd. If all 3 are there I think I gotta go with Smith, I'm really hating the RB2's available in the 4th round.

Seatown no wonder you dominate your league, you're shooting fish in a barrel. MJD at 1.06? SJax in the 3rd freaking round in PPR? Smith in the 6th? Lunacy.

WR went early in my draft which is PPR 1pt for WR/TE .5 for RB. Starting requirements are 1QB 1RB 2WR 1TE 1K 1DST 2 flex RB/WR/TE. D. Williams actually lasted until 2.8S. Smith 2.11Colston 2.12R. Grant 4.8K. Smith 4.2A. Rodgers 3.5This was a kind of odd draft in a usually competitive Phenoms Omega league.

10 team Deep League Start 2QB TD's 5pts I took Rodgers with the 3.6 pick. Brady, Manning, and Brees all went in the first round. In one of my 12 team leagues start 1QB 5pts TD he went at 3.5

I KEEP GETTING THE RANDOMIZED 6 SPOT. OBVIOUSLY IM A MACHINE AND THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN SLOW ME DOWN IS GIVING ME THE WORST SPOT EACH AND EVERY DRAFT. I am comeing out with some pretty nice drafts from the 6 spot i think. My last two redrafrs from 6 spot were both 3rr and 4rr ####### reversal thanks to Jeff and his idiotic stupid scientific BS that isiots actually beleive in powerful positions i guess.

My redraft 12 team I just finnished I went a different stragety. RB RB WR WR WR QB QB TE RB TE D RB D K RB WR

It came out a nice looking team I think sjax westy djax welker edwards cutler ryan olsen winslow the main group .5 ppr mccoy i got in round 9 to handcuff westy. i got buckhalter and hillis too at rb late values.

I've had the 6th in two 12 team leagues (WCOFF style) and one 10 team league (QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, 2 Flex, PK, DEF). All leagues are PPR.

In the 12 teamers my first 10 rounds went

12 team League 1: Went WR heavy and paid the price at RB.

Randy Moss, Reggie Wayne, Darren McFadden, Braylon Edwards, Larry Johnson, DeSean Jackson, Tony Romo, Devin Hester, Fred Taylor, Zach Miller.

12 team League 2:

Matt Forte, Kevin Smith, Marques Colston, Chad Ochocinco, DeSean Jackson, Dallas Clark, Donovan McNabb, Leon Washington, Steve Smith (NYG), Ahmad Bradshaw.

I meant to take Boldin at 2.07, but Smith was at the top of my queue and was selected as time expired, D'oh! Still think I came out OK, though.

10 team:

DeAngelo Williams, Frank Gore, Anquan Boldin, Chad Ochocinco, Eddie Royal, Ray Rice, Greg Olsen, Jay Cutler, Hines Ward, Donald Brown.

#6 in a 10-team ESPN non-PPR league (4 pts per Passing TD). The unusual thing is that the starting lineups are 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 2 RB/WR flex, 1 TE , 1 D and 1 K. I thought that meant that getting all-down RBs are even more important in this league than most, so that shows what I did in this draft:

QB: Ryan (66), Garrard (106)

RB: LT (6), Gore (15), Ronnie Brown (35), McFadden (46), Sproles (86), M Bush (115) , E James (135)

WR: Colston (26), B Edwards (55), Royal (75)

TE: O Daniels (95)

D: Pats (126)

K: Rackers (145)

I took Colston higher that most since I based my draft more on Jason Wood's projections because for the most part I more agreed with his rankings than the other FBGs (I have Colston higher than most - I agreed with his top 6 RBs). Naturally I did better on his "rate my team" rankings than Dodds' .
