Pierre Garcon: How's the foot? (1 Viewer)

I've been scouring the web looking for any updates on how Pierre Garcon's been doing, but haven't had much luck. Whether or not he'll stay healthy all year, does he look healthy now?

It's sort of hard to make sense of it, but it sounds like the problem isn't fully resolved and may always need to be managed. So it's possible it could cause more problems in the future. Or not. There's no way of knowing.

The fact that he played on it and played well at the end of last season is pretty big though IMO. Especially in the absence of any setbacks.

It seems to be a pain management thing more than anything, which is why he didn't get the surgery in the first place, because there was no guarantee from the doctors that the surgery would definitely fix the issue anyways, and then he definitely would have missed time.

He's tough and he hates missing time on the field, so as long as he can manage and stand the pain I think he'll be a playmaker. He's pretty underrated right now.

No news is good news to me. Reports from camp are that he's looked stellar. I'm drafting him around WR18 with confidence.

Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon said that the injured toe that hampered him for the bulk of last season now has fully healed.Garcon will continue to experiment with different inserts to help support that second toe of his right foot, but he no longer is limited in any way.

“Foot’s good. Hundred percent,” he said on Monday.

I have him paired with Dez in one league. Could be a very nice combination.

Haven't heard anything bad about Garcon, so that's always a good thing. Like others have said, it's all about pain management. If he can deal with the pain, he could be knocking on the Top 10 WR door.

Pierre Garcon has declared his troublesome foot/toe "100 percent."
The injury plagued Garcon throughout 2012, and the Redskins weren't sure if he'd ever be 100 percent this season. Garcon said he has no plans to change his playing style. "Still trying to make plays every time I touch the ball, trying to block downfield for my team, just move the ball downfield and score touchdowns." Garcon is a WR2 with WR1 upside in the Redskins' wide-open read option attack.

agreed could have a top 3 and top 10 guy as your starting wide outs..

im hoping for the same with julio and pierre, throw in doug martin and gronk.. and the team is shaping up with some big time potential
