A regular ny pizza place, not papa johns. I order 1 pie and a veggie wrap. The delivery guy comes to my house, i give him only a $3 tip. On his way back to his car he says "oh they gave you an extra pizza". The extra pizza is $17. I never really order from them, so what happened here?

You're an FBG...double the cost of the bill and add $2(only double the $ on the food, not any any beverage or tax)

Depends on the bill - $3-$5 should be fine under most circumstances... When there is some sort of severe weather issue, I think it is appropriate to increase the tip. I walked to the store a block away earlier, gloves/hat on and my hands/ears were painfully cold, this would deserve a bigger tip IMO on a day like today.

In college wevordered delivery from dominos that was literally across the street. On the order the guy was like "the gray house diagonal from us?". 30 minutes later we had our pie. Another time a guy ordered delivery from a place half a block behind us. It was two degrees and icy. A 70 year old guy ended up delivering the pizza on foot..

I would never begrudge anyone for tipping extra. However, 5 degrees isn't that bad, certainly not a "sever weather issue".

Not to mention the fact that it was the Flash delivering the pizza as it only took 1.5 seconds.
