PJ Pope (1 Viewer)

Nobody is talking about this guy, yet I think he is the best RB on that team right now. Am I the only one that thinks he will get the lion share of carries this week vs. Buffalo? If Denver is in the redzone, I think they give it to Pope because the other 2 guys (Bell/Young) are not very good in short yardage. I believe Young is still a little hobbled and isn't 100% and Bell doesn't look like he belongs right now, very average running since he's been back.

I realize for people that are in the Championship Game in their leagues that to plug Pope in would seem like a shot in the dark, but I think in deep leagues he is worth a look. PPR he should hold well since he has pretty good hands too. I am probably going to plug him in over Gore, Foster, and Choice. I think Pope should be able to drop 100 total yards and a touchdown against a Buffalo team that has packed it in. Go big or go home right?

Only guy I would consider benching for Pope is Ryan Grant and with bad weather conditions in Chicago for Monday night which should lean heavily on the running game, I can't afford to take that chance in a week like this.

I've been burned too many times trying to figure out the Denver RB situation. I'd have to be pretty desperate to even consider this in a championship game. Since it looks like I'll be starting Foster - I'm pretty close to desperate right now. :lmao:

I'm seriously considering rolling with him over Santonio in a PPR flex spot because I think a Holmes 3/60 type day isn't going to be enough against the guy I am facing.

Pope could bust out but I think it is going to be heavily dependent on if he can get a TD. They might want to see more of him against Buffalo, especially if SD looses earlier in the day. I could see Shanny running the ball 25-30 times if they have the division locked up heading into 4:00 game.

I am not saying he is going to rest the likes of Cutler/Marshall/Royal but he might drop Jay back a little less if the game doesn't mean anything.

IMO predicting what shanny will do with RB is a futile waste of time...skeletor has 3 rb with pope, bell and young, and almost assuredly a playoff spot. why not use all 3 to keep the defenses off guard and as many healthy as possible. sure pope could get the hot hand and the majority of carries, however, he's just as likely to split his carries with tater 50:50 while young is the COP guy. in the end, any predictions are just like playing the lotto...if you hit, you were lucky. if you missed, you should've known better than to drink that koolaide

Have to decide between Pope, Lendale White or Jamal Lewis. Tempted to play Jamal in the bad weather, but right now am going to swing for the fences with Pope. My opponent got 24 pts from Dallas Clark, so I feel like I need to take some chances.
