Panthers | Foster remains unquestioned starting tailback Published Wed Jul 4 3:28:00 p.m. ET 2007 (KFFL) ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports Carolina Panthers RB DeShaun Foster remains the team's unquestioned No. 1 running back entering the 2007 season. He started a career-high 14 games last season but has a long list of previous injuries on his resume. Foster, who is expected to share time with RB DeAngelo Williams this season, seems to be more productive when sharing the workload.
Williams value is much higher. IMO, he will perform very well this year, but really, all you should be caring about is value, and I can tell you that's a low offer. He has gone as high as 2.11 on the initial dynasty drafts that can be found here. So, you can get a lot more and even more than that if you just wait a little bit. I think this is about where his lowest value will be. The only reason to sell now is if you think Williams will fall apart during TC and Foster will look incredible in TC. Both are unlikely to happen. If Williams doesn't climb the depth charts his value won't move that much. People will still expect a takeover early to mid-season. If he does takeover, and if he looks good in TC, his value will fly. I'd still keep him at that point, but that's just me. Either way, his value will go way up and that's when you should sell.
