Players returning from injury or hold out? (1 Viewer)

There are a handful of players that are either coming off a season ending injury or have held out (or still holding out)

I myself have always been leery of these type of players and deem them to be "gambles" come draft day generally opting not to draft these types. Is this the year to gamble?

Just wondering what some of your opinions of these players coming off injury or hold-out and "WHY" you might be targeting or where you think the value is too great to pass up?

MJD - hold out - would he be a top 5 pick if not? and how many weeks until he is up to the speed of the game?

ADP - injury - can he be a top 10 RB? What week will he actually play and how long before up to speed of the game?

Charles - injury - can he regain 2010 form? Hillis lurking?

Fred Jackson - injury - was solid last year until injured, can he regain form? CJ Spiller lurking?

Mendenhall - even when back, how many games to get up to speed?

Wallace - hold out - consensus is he will need to learn new offense. If so, how long will that take?

Dwayen Bowe - he is clear cut #1 receiving option on team. In shape? picking up new offense?

Hakeem Nicks - is the only one on this list that I am not questioning at the moment. I think he is in for a great year.

These are questions that pop into my head and hoping some of you experts can impart your wisdom and rationales.

Thanks.

I love gambles.

Give me guys like Jerome Simpson, Mikel Leshoure, and Rashard Mendenhall. They make perfect insurance for taking a guy like McFadden early.
