If your league is run by a customizable web manager do you re seed after the first round of the playoffs?

Re Seed Example:

Round One

Seeds #1 and #2 have byes

Seed #3 plays Seed #6 (Seed 6 wins)

Seed #4 plays Seed #5 (Seed 5 wins)

Round Two

Seed #1 plays Seed #6

Seed #2 plays Seed #5

Someone is trying to convince me that not re seeding the the fantasy standard. I have never been in a league that does not re seed. I guess I'm looking for a reality check here.

#1 should always play the lowest seed. If not than the league should be ashamed.
Thank you. I know that there are public leagues out there with prepackaged rules that can't be customized, but with all of the great web managers out there I can't believe that any league would throw away the seeding after the first round.

I would also like to hear from anyone who does not re seed. I'm just curious as to why and what is the logic behind the leagues' choice.

Most reseed. But one league of mine lets the #1 team select who he wants to face leaving the other team for the #2 seed.Really makes you look over the rosters and decide if the lowest ranked team is really who you want to face..

I like the strategy of selecting your opponent. Really gives the #1 seed an advantage.
