Obviously there would be some gray area with actresses in sexy poses and whatnot, but I think you could just err on the side of caution there without much problem.

Obviously Joe can have any kind of board he wants, just my :2cents:

I look at it this way.  If it goes on the internet, it is fair game.  If they didn't want to be objectified, they shouldn't have posted it anywhere.

Ah yes.  I still recall fondly the year I ran a campaign to have Catherine Bell in the finals and it worked.  Good times.

:lmao:  I was new to this community then.  I was all, "Who the hell is this guy arguing that Catherine Bell is the only one in the Babe Bracket not controlled by the special interests?"

 
Joe, when you think of what you want the FFA to be, do you care more about the content or do you care more about there being a sense of community that keeps people around here posting and contributing.  I think probably a balance of the two is ideal, but it sure seems like you care a lot more about the former which comes at the expense of the latter.

A balance for sure. But there are constraints on the content. It has to fit in what we're doing. And then hopefully community forms around it. 

 
By all means let's clean this place up.  

Has anyone purged all of the @Homer J Simpson comments wrt young girls?  

How about the "vault" threads offering free music?  Any copyright concerns?  Not charging, so maybe not...

Some thread titles might offend as well.  I mean really, "Winnipeg releases 417 large ladies into the wild, as a gift to nature, for advancing to the WCF" ... while you and I might find this funny, plus size girls from the 'Peg?  Not so much.

 
I always found it interesting that my pick would often be different than the FFA.  After awhile it became clear when in doubt the FFA always went with the girl with the biggest boobs.  It was fun seeing people's rankings as well.  Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

$ income aside to the site wouldn’t you agree that  DFS is very unsavory. I understand the need to service that area but it seems like dirty money to me

 
No more 'The Bachelor' thread. That entire show is about judging women, then kicking them out the mansion when they're no longer liked. Can't have discussion on that type of TV content here.

That immediately occurred to me too.  But then I saw that a fun exchange I had after GPJ made an awesome post were deleted - maybe because I quoted him and he went back and deleted so my posts went too - but in any event I believe I'll refrain from any further commentary on this topic.  :thumbup:

Shrugs' post about the objectification of football players was also deleted. Not sure that our dear leader has really gotten his head around that one tbh.

 
FFS.. what is this board coming to? What's next? The Kids Getting Owned thread deleted because it is a sin to watch those innocent snowflakes getting pancaked by excited Golden Retrievers?
