Polamalu To Reprise Joe Greene's Coke Commercial (1 Viewer)

Guys Polamalu is a baaaaaaaad man. It is very appropriate to use him in this remake.
:excited: Great player. But makes no sense in this role.
Why not? He is one of the most intense players and biggest hitters in the game. Offensive players are terrified of him and it isn't just because he makes
IMHO the ad was more about the persona of mean joe green then anything else. Polamulu is a great player but he does not have the mean persona. He seems to be quite the opposite.

I wish they would remake this commercial with EAS protein shakes and McNabb. That QB hasn't been the same since he bulked up like a fullback (Matt Suey in mind). I remember Don at 'cuse and his 1st few years as an Eagles. Heck, instead of using a kid they can use skinny Kolb. Yeah, Don throwing the pigskin to Kolb after downing a shake.

Wow. I have trouble comprehending how people can watch Troy flying around the field laying the lumber and think "What a nice guy."

Twenty-nine years after Joe Greene became a star in a Coca-Cola commercial, Troy Polamalu will be cast in the yet another remake.
Coke seems to remake this commercial (or at least do an homage) every three years. NTTAWWT.Joe Greene was already a star, as well. He'd already won four Super Bowls and appeared in three made-for-TV movies. With or without the commercial, he was destined for The Great Space Coaster.
