Washington Redskins head coach Joe Gibbs made a suprising announcement on Saturday, stating that injured runningback Clinton Portis will play as a backup in Monday night's game against the Minnesota Vikings. "If I had to say, I think Ladell will start and Clinton will play a backup role in the game," Gibbs said. "That's the way I think it's going to go. I think that's what we've tried to accurately portray during the week." After proclaiming to the media that he was only "75 percent" a day earier, Portis changed his tune on Saturday.
