14 Team Devy League PPR (1 pt for WR, 0.75 pt RB, 1.25 pt TE), start 9 (1QB, 2-3 RB, 3-4 WR, 1-2 TE, DEF, QB (6 pt for TD, -1 for int). Rookie draft is separate from Devy Draft. If the draft looks unusual it is because the top players in NFL draft are already on rosters. This is why I value combining the rookie and devy drafts, but can't get the league to consider it. It would make for a more exciting draft if we did. As you can see below, separating them into two drafts devalues the rookie draft.

That’s nuts.
Yeah, I couldn't believe it and this league is an experienced league. I suppose you never know, because the RB position can change on a dime. This owner has made great picks in past years too. Same owner had both those picks and passed on Gibbs AND is not a Kenneth Walker owner. Maybe he knows something we don't?

Which pick is a bigger reach? Charbonet or Achane?
Achane?

I would like to hear someone make their case on Achane over Gibbs. I think Charb over Gibbs is a bigger mistake, in fantasy.

I also think the immediate slotting that happens after the draft is not conducive to making good decisions. I always try and talk myself out of my first ideas.

Reeealllly interested to see where Ced Tillman goes. I wanna draft quick before people start talking about that landing spot.

:bowtie: I'm the 1.05 guy. Woke up and picked up my phone to see if I was on the clock yet. Took about 20 seconds for me to process that Gibbs was available.
Congratulations - that’s 💯 bonkers.

I’m sure you were lamenting the 1.05, wondering who of the flawed WR you would take or if you’d take a chance on ARich? Instead you don’t even need coffee to make a no-brianer selection.

Amazingly fortunate.

1.044xxxAchane, Devon MIA RB (R)Sun Apr 30 10:39:27 a.m. ET 202318 seconds

At least the 1.04 guy gave it a lot of thought before passing on Gibbs.
The only logical explanation here is that he assumed Gibbs was already gone and didn't even look.
Same owner with 1.03 and 1.04.
The only logical explanation here is that he's an idiot.
Actually he is not. He's drafted just fine in the past. I just went and looked. Not sure his reasoning, but I'm sure he has them.

Hey, some folks just don’t like some players.

I know a few FF managers who are out on Gibbs. They don’t like his size or they don’t love his landing spot.

He’s easily my 1.02 in 1 QB leagues, and I’ve flipped him from 5 to 4 in SF rankings because of draft capital & landing spot.

But Achane paired up with McDaniel in a high powered offense that has 2 oft injured RB is definitely appealing.

And I could see being high on a complete back like Charb in a run-heavy Seattle offense. And with 2nd round capital, I could understand this pick as well.

Clearly this person isn’t a Gibbs fan to pass on him twice for whatever reasons.

It’s super fortuitous for @Mister CIA, but I’m hesitant to call it stupid.

IMO, one of the exciting things about dynasty drafts. It adds to the excitement.

(Just barely a) super flex rookie draft. Scoring is heavily skewed toward PPR and TE premium.
Bijan
Gibbs
JSN
Bryce
Rich
Addison
Stroud
QJ
Kincaid
Zay
Mayer
Charbonnet
Achane
Mingo
Laporta

I’d love to hear more about this. I hold Bell in a Keep 13 ppr league and he’s at the very edge of my keeper list (grabbed him off waivers middle of last year). I don’t know much about either Bell or Tillman but they were both draft in the 3rd round I believe. How do they compare?

I have him as well. Tillman bigger and faster. They are the same age (23 this year).

One was a junior, the other R-Senior.

You have to Google to find out how old these guys are. Covid messed everything up

This will be one of the least “consensus” years in recent memory (at least for early drafts, maybe a better pecking order emerges during training camp.) Fully expect guys to go mid-first in some leagues that might not even go in the first at all in other leagues.

Robinson, Richardson,Young first 3 in our Superflex league. This draft always moves a little slow, but you guys can check back occasionally.

16 team PPR SF IDP TE-P, must start 2 TE

Actually makes more sense now. One owner is simply is not interested in Gibbs. That's a lot different than 2 teams passing o n him.

This makes me so jealous. My main dynasty leagues draft isn’t until July 15th. The commissioner insists on having a live draft, and that’s the soonest we could get everyone together.

I’m a very impatient holder of picks 1.01, 1.03 and 1.04.

At least send him a Christmas card.
Maybe a nice edible arrangement?

SF TE prem. So far
1. Robinson
2. Richardson
3. Young
4. Stroud
5. Gibbs
6. JNS
7. Johnston
8. Flowers
9. Addison
10. Kincaid
11. Achane
12. Levis

I have 1.13 and looking at other teams needs looks like I can choose between TEs Kincaid and Mayer. I'm leaning towards Mayer. I think Garoppolo leans on his TEs more than Allen.

TE-P I’m a little surprised a TE didn’t go ahead of Johnston but I get it.

Wilson was taken this morning at 4.02. I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other aside from Arizona being a mess right now. That's the most interesting thing about these early drafts: they're all over the place with player and situation evaluations (Shoonmaker and Hyatt are great examples). ADP always settles into a consensus over time and we early drafters end up looking like geniuses or idiots.

These are all on-going.

Better look again, 9‘ers TE was not playable until Purdy took the reigns.

2021 Kittle had 71 receptions 910 yards and 6 tds in 14 games. TE prem that comes out to about 232 points. Not saying Mayer duplicates that but if he gets in the neighborhood I'll take it. Last year through week ll Kittle had 144 when Garropollo went down. So I still think he looks at his TEs regularly.

I just traded 1.13 for 2.3 and 3.11 in the draft I posted above. Figure I can still pick up one of the TEs at 2.3. 16 total picks in 1st round due to supplementals.

No Flowers? He seems to be going as WR4, after JSN, Addison and QJ, and I am wondering why. He can be legit WR1 for ravens this year, and with new OC there and the highest paid qb, they better be passing a lot more. Does anyone like him more than the WR4 in this draft, or is it just me?

I like him more than Addison, and took him over Addison in a draft. If I am looking for the most upside, a potential WR1, I think it's Flowers over Addison. Flowers has a more stable QB situation, a new OC with every indication that they want to open that offense up more, and doesn't have an alpha blocking his path to volume the way Addison does. Both have physical shortcomings, and different landing spots may have changed this for me... but since they are virtually tied in my rankings, I'll let the seemingly better situation break the tie for me. Flowers has more risk, but I think a higher ceiling.

You're not going to believe this one, but Gibbs went 1.5, with Achane and Charbonnet going ahead of him.
That’s nuts.
Yeah, I couldn't believe it and this league is an experienced league. I suppose you never know, because the RB position can change on a dime. This owner has made great picks in past years too.
Which pick is a bigger reach? Charbonet or Achane?
Great question. I’m at 1.12 in SF and expect those two and spears to be my best options. I have no idea which of those I’d take but I’d be thrilled to give something decent with any for Gibbs.

Spears in the mid 2nd in most leagues is probably going to look like theft before too long.
