Post Pictures of Your Dog(s) (1 Viewer)

After a very rough 4 days my little buddy Sarge has passed on to a more peaceful and painless place. He left us early Wednesday morning. I restarted his breathing 6 or 7 times but it just wasn't gonna happen. The little man put up a good fight which is true to his character. He will be greatly missed.

so sorry to hear bud. I am bringing my 14 yo in Friday for some bloodwork and I have a bad feeling it is getting time soon.

Thanks man. It was a rough night.

It's amazing how the other dogs knew what was going on. They were all worried and kept checking on the little fella.

Im sorry for your pain...my 15 yo pug has chronic bronchitis and has great difficulty breathing with even the slightest humidity...its been a struggle the last 2 summers ...i know she cant keep going ...saddens me beyond words thinking of her dying

Thanks a lot. I really appreciate the kind words. Even though I still have 7 dogs the house just seems a little emptier.

I want to wish you and your pug good luck.

my guy has CB and daily prednisone with theophylline has just about knocked it out......they gave us inhalers, but you try putting a mask on his snout without losing a finger.

i tried prednisone but all she did was drink water and pee everywhere...i do use a nebulizer that sprays a steroid mist ..i hold it in front of her mouth and nose as she breaths ...its the only way i can do it....it does help

We picked up a 1 y.o. dog this past weekend. Amy is a Jack Russell/Beagle mix. She was found abandoned in a campground in WV. :( I guess she was afraid of the banjos!!

In the 72 hours that we have had her, she has started to settle in nicely; we just need to perfect housebreaking. What will be interesting will be her melding with our two cats. Amy wants to play with the cats, and they aren't interested, yet. There is lots of hissing, especially when the cats are cornered.

She is a very lovey dog, cuddling with everyone and constantly rolling over for belly rubs, and she's a jumper, snuggling on couches and beds.

Feel like this thread badly needed bumping while pics were available.

Abbey meets a cat for the first time as a puppy:

From left to right Cricket (1 1/2 year old Frenchie), Kirby (4 year old Frenchie) & Duncan (7 year old Doberman).

God I love them so much.

Found out today we're going to be fostering, with the opportunity to adopt, a 10 month old male rescue Golden Retriever from Turkey (apparently they're status symbols there as puppies but not adults and there are thousands on the street),

Any thoughts on adding a second dog to the family? We've had our 7 year old female since she was a puppy. We've been looking for a companion, different age and ideally make so this fits. My wife has always had two dogs, I've only ever had one at a time.

This is a pic from a few years ago of my Bernese Mountain Dog, Jack, lounging with some of his buddies at his dog boarding:

I still miss this guy. Almost time to bring home another....

I need to go back through all the posted pics and like them all!

Here is the strangest dog in the world, but she's a good egg.  Rescue Scotties are all the rage.
