Anyone ever go to a field of dreams MLB game in Iowa? (1 Viewer)

The Twins will play the Phillies 8/13 at the Field of Dreams field in Iowa. I wonder how hard the tickets are to get? How far in advance to get them? Do they bring in extra seating? I know from pictures there’s not much seating.

I suppose it depends on what kind of seating they have.

Yes and Field of Dreams is one of my all time favorite movies. I thought it was just okay.

Not sure about the MLB field but they have built and added a lot of youth fields. My son played in the field of dreams tourney a couple of years ago. Only some championship games or select others were at the property. Most games were in surrounding communities. They held some competition stuff one night at the field (homerun derby, throwing relay, and fastest to first).

With the construction it has been a while. Your positive is that they do not play the Cubs. Most of Iowa are cubs fans.

Parking truly was in a field and was just like the movie with a long line of cars on a country road. It did move suprisingly fast though.

I am curious on this as well. I live in Iowa (Opposite side of the state) and have never been to the Field of dreams site. I am also a Twins fan (painful I know). I try to go to a couple Twins games every year and this would definitely be a bucket list road trip. Unfortunately my wife works at a University and my son will be presumably be starting college next year so a mid August road trip might not be in the cards.

The North Woods summer college baseball league is having their all star game at the field of dreams. Madison, green bay, Wausau and I would guess teams in Iowa play in that league. I believe all star game is late July.
