Antonio Gibson in the first round?1 QB PPR starting today 11 AM EST. League has been running since 2007. Luck retiring last year hurt, picking #3 overall this year:

LOL I honestly didn't even see it until i picked 2.3 and was stunned.Antonio Gibson in the first round?
Wow. There's no value there anymore.
He's a mediocre prospect at best. Definitely a project.......Antonio Gibson in the first round?
Wow. There's no value there anymore.
Yeah, everyone has somebody that reached somewhere, but that jumped the Antonio Gibson shark. To be fair though, he might have really wanted him and IIRC, his next pick was 2.11, or 23 overall, so...LOL I honestly didn't even see it until i picked 2.3 and was stunned.

Thanks, I was shocked Claypool went that early, although I do think Steelers are the best at scouting WR talent. But yeah, for me, I like Pittman's situation better than Mims and Aiyuk. With Mims, well, its the Jets. And not sure Jimmy G can make 2 WRs fantasy relevant as much as they run the ball and feed Kittle. You've got to be stoked about this beginning. Steelers are great at scouting WR talent. Claypool going that early could be that the guy saw his chance in that round instead of 3.1 or whenever he picks next. I'm just saying, as far as ADP goes, that fell nicely for you. 1.01 and 1.02 seem like givens, but you didn't overthink, which is great. Thanks, I was shocked Claypool went that early, although I do think Steelers are the best at scouting WR talent. I did too in one league, traded 1.1 for Godwin, Cohen, and $50 BBID (which is half of what we get for the year). I overthought a bit and traded out of 1.01, so it can happen.
Godwin for 1.1 is a no brainer. You got over on that one. There's nobody in this class really near him, IMHO. Totally the correct decision. Might not work out but you made the best pick you could make.I drafted Dillon over Gibson and had immediate buyer's remorse that only keeps growing by the day. Perhaps that will be unfounded, but it sure looks like 4.39 when he runs. :(
I think you wont regret that long term.
I hope you guys are right. I think you are, actually, I just get so intrigued by speed. Then again, Dillon's speed score was like in a stratospheric percentile, so it's just a different speed.Totally the correct decision. Might not work out but you made the best pick you could make.
Cordelle Patterson and Ty Montgomery were decent Swiss army knifes, but never very good FF players. I think you made the right call.I hope you guys are right. My beef with Superflex leagues is that it makes QBs too important. With standard or PPR leagues you can give additional scoring for RB, WR, TE without making their value grossly outweigh the other positions. You can give QBs 6 pts per TD instead of 4 to increase their value, but not increase their value too much compared to the other positions. This draft makes me want to trade my first rounders for second rounders.
