1.2- S Jax

2.11- Ced Benson

3.2- Clinton Portis

4.11- Javon Walker

5.2- Ladell Betts

6.11- VY

7.2- T Glenn

8.11- D Rhodes

9.2- Devery Henderson

10.11- Brandon Jackson

11.2- Matt Schaub

12.11- Dwayne Jarrett

13.2- Eric Baker

14.11- Seahawks D

15.2- Anthony Thomas

16.11- Shanye Graham

I was hoping T Jones would fall to 2-11, but he went at 2-10 and I was left to choose between Ced and Duece. I guess I thought that Deuce is coming into his second year after and ACL, which is a good time for a back to go big (look at Edge's second year off of his)...but I just figured that Ced will be sharing the ball far less with AP than Deuce will with Reggie, especially since Payton is going to get Bush more involved this year. It is so weird to see Portis fall this far in these drafts, but I snatched him up big time at the beginning of the third...with hopes of handcuffing him later. You know Ladell Betts will go big if CP is hurt, but as long as CP is healthy, LBetts is no threat to decreasing his carries that much anyway. A healthy Portis next year= Ladell Betts is like a Verron Haynes to FWP. 3rd down back, no threat. I was happy to get Javon Walker at the 4 spot, considering some creeps were taking guys like CJ and overrated Steve Smith early in the 2nd round. I would honestly rather have Walker anyway. D Rhodes and Brandon JAckson are my later round snake moves. My hate as a Lamont Jordan owner from last year made me draft Rhodes since I KNOW for a fact that Lamont Jordan is the worst player in football and worthless. I think by mid season, when it counts, one of those guys will be going big. I just picked up A Train, b/c there is not much going on in the BUF backfield, and I figured that maybe he'll get some carries like he did in the 2 games last year where he put up good fantasy numbers.

I have to say I'm not impressed with that team. Also, is that Chris Baker (TE) at 13.2? I think you jumped the gun on Betts. You could've bolstered your WR corps instead of taking 4 RB's in your first 5 picks. I do like the Brandon Jackson pick.

Talk about overkill on the RBs. Every single position on your roster outside of RB is subpar.

Edit: sorry I didn't notice you have Shayne Graham. I like him too.

This is the one I was most satisfied with - an experts mock over on Mock Draft Central. Maybe it's because it fell perfectly for me, but a McGahee, Henry, Lee Evans, Roy Williams and Marc Bulger start made a bad draft almost impossible. I'd be happy to get some feedback on where I may have messed up though.

Round Team Player Pos Team Pick Time

R1 P1 Fantasy Football Cafe Tomlinson, LaDainian RB SD 4s

R1 P2 Mock Draft Central Jackson, Steven RB STL 9s

R1 P5 BFD Fantasy Addai, Joseph RB IND 16s

R1 P6 Fantasy Insider Online Westbrook, Brian RB PHI 7s

R1 P7 Fantasy Sports Source Alexander, Shaun RB SEA 54s

Comment He`s not even 30 yet and still is the cornerstone of a potent offense. I was not looking forward to drafting Westbrook who`d coming off career year. I feel fortunate here.

R1 P8 Fantasy Football Helpers Parker, Willie RB PIT 6s

R1 P9 Game Time Decisions Johnson, Chad WR CIN 36s

R1 P10 Ultimate Fantasy Sports Bush, Reggie RB NO 7s

R1 P11 Fantasy Football Trader McGahee, Willis RB BAL 13s

Comment Speaks for itself. Took what I thought was best RB available.

R1 P12 Fake Teams Brown, Ronnie RB MIA 23s

R2 P1 Fake Teams Harrison, Marvin WR IND 20s

R2 P2 Fantasy Football Trader Henry, Travis RB DEN 32s

Comment Good year for RB/RB in the first two rounds if you`re sitting 8th-14th overall. The pool is deep enough you are guaranteed 2 workhorse`s - unlike some years.

R2 P3 Ultimate Fantasy Sports Maroney, Laurence RB NE 21s

R2 P4 Game Time Decisions Palmer, Carson QB CIN 30s

R2 P5 Fantasy Football Helpers Johnson, Rudi RB CIN 10s

R2 P6 Fantasy Sports Source Manning, Peyton QB IND 10s

Comment With Palmer going just before me, I thought I`d lucked into Manning. Maybe, maybe not. Alot of good QBs went late in the draft and I really could`ve used another stud RB here.

R2 P7 Fantasy Insider Online James, Edgerrin RB ARI 15s

R3 P5 BFD Fantasy Benson, Cedric RB CHI 31s

R3 P6 Fantasy Insider Online Johnson, Andre WR HOU 21s

R3 P7 Fantasy Sports Source Moss, Randy WR NE 53s

Comment Ouch. My computer froze up on this pick and I missed out on Housh or Roy Williams. Could still wind up being a great pick especially if the Pats target Moss alot in the Red Zone.

R3 P8 Fantasy Football Helpers Brees, Drew QB NO 8s

R3 P9 Game Time Decisions Jones-Drew, Maurice RB JAX 29s

R3 P10 Ultimate Fantasy Sports Barber, Marion RB DAL 54s

R3 P11 Fantasy Football Trader Evans, Lee WR BUF 9s

Comment Evans could wind up a Top 5 WR this year. He`s put up #2 WR numbers now two years in a row despite much supporting cast. Another step forward in `07 is very possible.

R3 P12 Fake Teams Jacobs, Brandon RB NYG 17s

R4 P1 Fake Teams Winslow, Kellen TE CLE 4s

R4 P2 Fantasy Football Trader Williams, Roy WR DET 28s

Comment Was very happy to grab Williams out of the turn. I`ll put him and Evans up against anyone`s else`s top 2 WR`s in this draft. Couldn`t have been happier through 4 rounds.

R4 P3 Ultimate Fantasy Sports Houshmandzadeh, T.J WR CIN 12s

R4 P4 Game Time Decisions Lynch, Marshawn RB BUF 34s

R4 P5 Fantasy Football Helpers Williams, Cadillac RB TB 22s

R4 P6 Fantasy Sports Source Walker, Javon WR DEN 59s

Comment With Rod Smith getting long in the tooth, I like Walker being the go to guy in the potent Broncos offense.

R5 P5 BFD Fantasy Ward, Hines WR PIT 56s

R5 P6 Fantasy Insider Online Green, Ahman RB HOU 55s

R5 P7 Fantasy Sports Source Edwards, Braylon WR CLE 59s

Comment Can you say third year break out? QB situation is cause for a little concern.

R5 P8 Fantasy Football Helpers Galloway, Joey WR TB 33s

R5 P9 Game Time Decisions Brown, Reggie WR PHI 50s

R5 P10 Ultimate Fantasy Sports Johnson, Calvin WR DET 5s

R5 P11 Fantasy Football Trader Bulger, Marc QB STL 26s

Comment At the time, I was positively giddy about grabbing Bulger 61st overall. Little did I know that QB was going to be such a "slow burn" and there would still be quality talent in the 9th/10th rounds. I can`t say I reached here, but in hindsight - probably could have gotten more value by grabbing my 3rd WR.

R5 P12 Fake Teams Branch, Deion WR SEA 8s

R6 P1 Fake Teams Moss, Santana WR WAS AutoSelect

R6 P2 Fantasy Football Trader Norwood, Jerious RB ATL 8s

Comment Many casual observers won`t like Norwood here but I do. Dunn is getting long in the tooth and in limited attempts Norwood has ran violently. I think he could surprise this year.

R6 P3 Ultimate Fantasy Sports Gonzalez, Tony TE KC 28s

R6 P4 Game Time Decisions Taylor, Chester RB MIN AutoSelect

R6 P5 Fantasy Football Helpers Cotchery, Jerricho WR NYJ 7s

R6 P6 Fantasy Sports Source Jones, Kevin RB DET 41s

Comment My whole draft hinges on how well and how soon Jones comes back from his gruesome injury. Wish I could say I was more confident. Was hoping to team with Tatum Bell. This pick looks good if he comes back healthy and gets 75% of reps by fantasy playoff time.

R6 P7 Fantasy Insider Online McNabb, Donovan QB PHI 54s

R7 P5 BFD Fantasy Heap, Todd TE BAL 32s

R7 P6 Fantasy Insider Online Crumpler, Alge TE ATL 12s

R7 P7 Fantasy Sports Source Chambers, Chris WR MIA 50s

Comment He`s not as bad as last year and not as good as two years ago. For a bench WR,I`ll take somewhere in between.

R7 P8 Fantasy Football Helpers Davis, Vernon TE SF 25s

R7 P9 Game Time Decisions Jackson, Vincent WR SD 7s

R7 P10 Ultimate Fantasy Sports Manning, Eli QB NYG 5s

R7 P11 Fantasy Football Trader Bennett, Drew WR STL 53s

Comment No real feelings about Bennett one way or the other here. I think he`ll just be a solid #3 WR - no more/no less - 40-55 grabs for 5-6 TD`s this year. Holt has had a difficult time staying on the field the past 2 years - Bennett could outperform expectations if Holt misses any time this year.

R7 P12 Fake Teams White, LenDale RB TEN 20s

R8 P1 Fake Teams Vick, Michael QB ATL 3s

R8 P2 Fantasy Football Trader Shockey, Jeremy TE NYG 20s

Comment Having had Dunn make it back to me I probably should have grabbed him and locked up the Falcon running game. Being my flex - not having Norwood produce would put me in a bad way. But this being point per rec. you can do yourself a HUGE favor by haveing a T.E. that can hang with his counterpart on your opponents roster any given week. With 3 of the 8 selections being T.E. before this pick, I really felt like I`d be staring at the B-list of Tight Ends in the 9th if I chose not to address it now (and I was right).

R8 P4 Game Time Decisions Dunn, Warrick RB ATL AutoSelect

R8 P5 Fantasy Football Helpers Mason, Derrick WR BAL 12s

R8 P6 Fantasy Sports Source Watson, Ben TE NE 41s

Comment With Moss and Stallworth clearing out space for him, Watson should shine this year especially given his lack of competition (Graham left via free agency).

R9 P6 Fantasy Insider Online Jacksonville Jaguars DEF JAX 19s

R9 P7 Fantasy Sports Source New England Patriots DEF NE 57s

Comment Not really where I wanted to draft a defense. Probably should`ve taken Morency here actually. Having a weak RB slot I figured I needed to make up for it with a defense that has playmakers all over the place with the signing of Adalius Thomas and the drafting of Meriweather.

R9 P8 Fantasy Football Helpers Droughns, Reuben RB NYG 8s

R9 P9 Game Time Decisions Jones, Matt WR JAX 29s

R9 P10 Ultimate Fantasy Sports Muhammad, Muhsin WR CHI 3s

R9 P11 Fantasy Football Trader Schaub, Matt QB HOU 56s

Comment My first mistake. The 60 second clock was winding down and I didn`t see Rivers available. This was too high for Schaub.

R9 P12 Fake Teams Jarrett, Dwayne WR CAR 3s

R10 P1 Fake Teams Ginn Jr., Ted WR MIA 12s

R10 P2 Fantasy Football Trader Robinson, Michael RB SF 39s

Comment 2006 was the first season of Frank Gore`s career - College, HighSchool, PopWarner and Kindergarten recess included that Gore remained dent-free. I don`t mind stashing his backup here.

R10 P3 Ultimate Fantasy Sports Rivers, Philip QB SD 6s

R10 P4 Game Time Decisions Miller, Heath TE PIT 28s

R10 P5 Fantasy Football Helpers Pennington, Chad QB NYJ 27s

R10 P6 Fantasy Sports Source Morency, Vernand RB GB 32s

Comment Boy, I did not want to draft him. With Benson going just before me in round 3 and Lynch a few picks before in round 4, I was forced to take a chance on Kevin Jones and then draft a guy like Morency to fill in until Jones returns. Was hoping to pick up Brandon Jackson in the next round for insurance.

When was your draft, Fantasy Trader? You picked John Carney as the NO kicker in round 15, but Carney is a FA right now.

I have to say I'm not impressed with that team. Also, is that Chris Baker (TE) at 13.2? I think you jumped the gun on Betts. You could've bolstered your WR corps instead of taking 4 RB's in your first 5 picks. I do like the Brandon Jackson pick.
I agree. In a real drfat I'm doing now he is still there in the 7th round. In another he went at 7.04. My team so far. Shoud have taken TJ at 2.05, but I like Wilis this year. I like this draft alot more than the first one, but I think you have to take your roster with a grain of salt. Your draft had to have crazy, as I see TO, CJ2, and Tatum as 3 guys who should've been long gone before when you picked them. That said, if TO did actually fall to 4.1, you probably could've picked up a great WR at 3.12 to team up with TO. Take a look back and see who else was there at 3.12. I would love to see this whole draft. There has to be some awesome value slipping.

Think I just killed this league I'm in. Drafted #2 in a 10 player league.
