Post your new toys (1 Viewer)

14 team league

1.10 Michael Floyd (1 college player per roster)

2.10 Vincent Brown

2.13 Colin Kaepernick

4.10 Tandon Doss

12 team start up dynasty that had the rookie draft right after the real draft. I blew up my team between the start up and rookie drafts, then tried to put it back together. PPR. Start 2RB/2WR/TE and can flex.

1.01 Green (kind of regret not taking Ingram, but not much)

1.08 Vareen

1.09 Murray

1.11 Carter

1.12 Cobb

2.01 T Smith

Tried to trade down during the rookie draft but there were literally no takers.

Happy with my new toys and was able to stock my roster with young talent. Just need one RB to do anything this year to have a team I'm happy with.

16 team IDP/PPR, nothing mind blowing but I got everyone I targeted so I was happy enough.2.14 Lewis, Dion PHI RB ® 2.16 Quinn, Robert STL DE ® 3.05 Bradford, Allen TBB RB ® 3.10 Moore, Denarius OAK WR ® 5.04 Mouton, Jonas SDC LB ® 5.05 * Spann, Chad FA RBOf the ones I've seen above, 3.07 is crazy good value for Quizz, 3.05/3.06 for Salas and Gates is quality too.
Liking Mouton where you got him, Bradford was a terrible reach. Moore was a little early compared to most drafts, but really about where he should beLewis is consistently falling to the end of the 3rd tier of RBs, good value there
I don't think Bradford is a terrible reach at all at pick 37.

1st rookie draft started yesterday, so far:

1.05 Daniel Thomas

1.09 Shane Vereen(the only pick i was happy about)

1.11 Torrey Smith

1.12 Roy Helu

2.06

3.05

3.10

12 Team PPR IDP league. Four round rookie draft that followed our initial draft. Rookie picks slots (i.e. 1.05, etc) were taken as draft picks in the initial draft:

1.05 Mikel Leshoure

1.11 Jon Baldwin

2.11 Vincent Brown

2.12 Taiwan Jones

3.04 Nate Irving

3.05 Lance Kendricks

3.09 Jake Locker

4.09 Dion Lewis

2.01 13. Cobb, Randall GBP WR ®

2.05 17. Green, Alex GBP RB ®

2.06 18. Powell, Bilal NYJ RB ®

3.03 27. Jones, Taiwan OAK RB ®

4.05 41. Salas, Greg STL WR ®

4.06 42. Harper, Jamie TEN RB ®

Getting Cobb at 2.01 made my draft. Came real close to making a trade to move up and get him, but figured I'd wait and see and it worked out for me.

Green and Powell may have been a little early, but this rookie draft was somewhat RB heavy and I didn't want to chance either not making it back to me since I'm very high on both of them. Might take some time, but patience will be key on these two as they earn playing time and eventually take over some important roles as I believe these two fit great with their respective teams.

Taiwan was mostly a McFadden handcuff/insurance. I like his potential, just not sure he'll ever get a chance unless McFadden gets hurt. Which is quite possible. Almost took Salas at 3.03 since he was the highest on my list, but since RBs were going fast and there were still a few good WRs on the board and all the QBs (minus Newt) I decided to take a chance and it worked again.

Harper was an impulse pick. My draft was done at 4.05 but an offer cam up to get 4.06 and Harper was tops on my list. I liked him a little more than most predraft, and just couldn't resist.

16 Team IDP PPR, start 1 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE and 1 RB/TE flex. 8 staff members.

1.14 Murray, DeMarco DAL RB ®

2.07 Jones, Taiwan OAK RB ®

2.13 Young, Titus DET WR ®

3.03 Lewis, Dion PHI RB ®

4.02 Sturdivant, Quan ARI LB ®

I took over the team, had no first round picks, I reached for Murray a little bit in the 1st, but I see a lot of upside in him (hopefully not the OU homer in me). Jones and Lewis possible high upside for future, Sturdivant a LB flier because I got too cute and waited too long and played the trade game too much, missing out on my targets of upper tier LBs even though this is a very weak class.

I have 3 more starting in a week and 2 more starting after that, will post when they finish.

12 team keeper full IDP PPR league(keep 4 off and 4 def plus 2 2nd year players), 3 round rookie draft.

1.05 Ryan William

1.09 Randall Cobb

2.01 Vincent Brown

2.02 Kendell Hunter

3.01 Bilal Powell

The full list:

1.2 Ingram

2.10 Cobb

3.3 Salas

3.10 T. Jones

Two picks left in the draft, and some notables still available that I'm hoping to snag (some combination of) in FA:

D. Lewis, K. Rudolph, J. White, D. Scott, D. Moore, J. Cameron, R. Mallett, C. Shorts, A. Pettis, V. Green, T. Doss, T. Tolliver, Sanzenbacher, C. Spann, N. Devine, N. Irving.

16 team draft.

Note: The scoring in this league creates a premium on DE, TE and CB, more so than one would find in other leagues, and must start 2 DE + 2 CB. 43 man rosters with 12 spot taxi squad.

1.09 Shane Vareen

1.10 Randall Cobb

1.16 Vincent Brown

3.09 Ryan Mallett

3.13 Prince Amukamara

Still have 4.08, 4.09, 7.09. Targets for round 4 are: Bilal Powell RB, Quan Sturvidant LB, Jordan Cameron TE, Alex Green RB, Ras-I Dowling CB, Stevan Ridley RB

So far so good:

1.10 Greg Little WR CLE

2.10 Vincent Brown WR SD

2.11 Randall Cobb WR GB

And no, I don't need WRs, I am just taking BPA.

Standard scoring, 1PPR, start up to 4 WR.

I'm curios who went 7,8,9, in this draft. Your value at wr is ridiculous, 1st and 2nd rd. Little goes top 7 in all drafts I have seen. and cobb goes in the 1st round or early 2nd at the latest.

2.23. Randall Cobb WR GB

2.24. Jason Hill, WR Jax

Draft is still ongoing and others in the league may read this so please do not post "players you are surprised haven't been taken yet"

And yes judging by the other drafts on this site I love the value I got in Little, Brown, and Cobb. I actually don't have any more picks right now but I am trying to trade into rounds 3 and 4.

Why draft Spiller if you're going to give up on him that quickly? In this weak class, 1.11 and 4.05 is almost worth the first by itself.

H/A PPR Flex

1.06 Little

1.08 Cobb

1.13 Vereen

2.04 Murray

2.08 Taiwan Jones

Pretty happy with the top 4. Jones is just a lottery ticket.

1.2 AJ Green

1.10 Jon Baldwin

2.6 Shane Vereen

3.7 Jared Cook

4.7 Michael Huff

5.7 Stephen Williams
Absurd value. Cook would easily be my #1 TE in this class. I dont understand why people undervalue vets in mixed drafts.
1st TE taken in this draft. Actually rudolph and hendricks were the only other TE drafted and they went in 5th or 6th I think
nonPPR? only 10-12 team? I could see no one feeling urgency to get a TE under those circumstances

 beats me. You're in the league. As you know, salary cap and Spiller has a higher salary by $3 than the 1.11 will. Plus it's a 2013 1st, a couple years away.

Thank you to everyone who is taking the time to comment on each draft is fantastic, its what makes the SP that elite RB we all covert.

Bloom, you are the man. Thanks for the feedback on LOEG, you cleaned up in that draft.

I've got another one here, a few of the picks in this 32 team double player league were embarrassing, esp when you see both copies of Von Miller go in the first. I started with 7 picks in the 3rd and 4th round of a 6 round rookie redraft. Team is built to win now, could use some WR upgrades.

2.09 41 Salas, Greg STL WR ®:Trading my 2012 1st and a couple of late 3rds for 2.09 & 2.11. Had to get the best WR available, I left Young and Gates on the board & took the last copy of Salas.

2.11 43 Hunter, Kendall SFO RB ® Despite an elite RB core (Raymell, ADP & Hillis/Hardesty), taking the last copy of Hunter was too good to pass up. Easily best value & BPA imo, left RB Carter on the board.

3.08 73 Jones, Taiwan OAK RB ® Traded my 2012 2nd & two late 4th rounders for 3.08 & 6.05/6.11. Second copy of Jones was taken by me 20 picks after the first.

3.26 91 Powell, Bilal NYJ RB ® First copy went at 3.26. Powell was insane value for me, he has gone in the early 2nd in every other draft I've been in. 2.08 in LOEG is the best I've seen.

3.29 94 Moore, Denarius OAK WR ® Best WR available, first copy of Moore (3.32).

3.30 95 Jones, Greg NYG LB ® Traded my 2012 3rd & 4.28 for 3.30 & 2012 5th.

16 team PPR w/idp

1.02 - Julio Jones

1.04 - Mark Ingram

2.01 - Christian Ponder (there was a run on QB's before this pick and the only QB's left were Ponder, Kaepernick, Dalton, and Mallet)

2.02 - Kyle Rudolph

3.05 - Bruce Carter

3.13 - Daquan Bowers

Every one of these picks filled a need for me. I liked getting 2 top 5 - 10 talents in the 3rd with Carter and Bowers. Hoping I can get atleast 2 - 3 years out of Bowers before his knee gives out...if at all.

Slow Draft started 4/28 12 Team Dynasty PPR

1.10 Greg Little

1.12 Jon Baldwin

2.10 Kendall Hunter

2.12 Bilal Powell

3.10 Lance Kendricks

5.10 Allen Bradford

Salas is going to be a beast, and do everything you can to get Kendricks in a PPR. Bradford loves TE's and OC McDaniels lobbied hard and basically chose Kendricks in rd 2. They will use him early and often. Pettis will be a good RZ target too. The Rams were top 5 getting to the RZ and bottom 5 converting.

14 team, IDP league.

2.9 Blaine Gabbert

2.12 Christian Ponder

3.12 Greg Salas

4.9 Jabaal Sheard

4.12 Casey Mathews

4.14 Cameron Jordan

5.2 Jaiquawn Jarrett

My QB situation was precarious. Having Garrad made Gabbert an easy target but I did not have much after my first pick. So, I traded back... I packaged 1.12, a late 6th, next years 5th and 7th for 2.2, an early 5th and next years 4th and 6th. I then turned around an gave up that 2.2 for 2.9 and two 4th round picks. Finally, I packaged two late 5's and next year 7 for a next year 4th. I shored up my QB situation with Gabbert and then snagging Ponder for extra insurance (plus, I really like Ponder). I like Salas where I got him and feel I got good value out of my 4's and 5.

16 team non-PPR.

1.05 Ryan Williams1.08 Mikel LeShoure1.14 Jake Locker2.02 (#18) Jonathan Baldwin2.09 (#25) Nate Irving
The 16 team format really emphasizes QB. The six quarterbacks went 1.10 - 1.15, I got Locker as the #5 QB. I almost took Baldwin, but I'm loaded at WR, and it's a salary league, so I was hesitant to put more resources in WR. I was very pleased when he continued to fall and I got him at #18 anyway.

Another 14 team, IDP

1.8 Ryan Williams

2.6 Titus Young

2.8 Delone Carter

3.6 Kyle Rudolf

4.5 Jabaal Sheard

Two trades here. 1.10, 3.8, 4.8 and next years 4th for 2.6, 3.6 and next years 1st. (the chances are that that 1st next year will be a top 5 pick) and then I gave Shaun Phillips and next years 4th for 4.5 and next years 2nd round pick.

My big problem was 2.6 in taking Titus. I love Titus but did not see that Cobb was on the board. Still, I am not 100% sold on Cobb so I am not sure I would have still gone with him. I know I am contrarian here.

Zealots Z51 league, started at the 1.06 spot and traded out for 1.12/3.07/4.11

1.12 Roy Helu RB (Wanted Jon Baldwin, but he went at 1.11)

2.06 Torrey Smith WR

2.12 Edmond Gates WR

3.06 Ryan Mallet QB (Run on QBs between 2.08 and 3.05)

3.07 Patrick Peterson CB (Hoping for return yardage to make up for lack of tackle #'s from CBs compared to Safeties)

4.06 Lance Kendricks TE

...

1.01 Ingram

1.10 Baldwin

1.11 Cobb

2.01 Helu-tried trading down but no takers Don't have another pick until 3.01

I'm in a 32 team IDP Dynasty NON PPR league. I have Reggie Bush and Chris WElls as my only RB's. I got:

Mark Ingram Rnd 1 (Pick 2)

and

Ryan Williams Rnd 1 (Pick 10)

So I have a good portion of the Saints and Cards backfield. When Ryan Williams fell to me I was like :

12 team, PPR, IDP, 35 man rosters

1.10 Shane Vereen, RB, NE (I needed a RB4/5 with upside BADLY with the likes of Torain, Donald Brown, Ringer, and Scott on my bench)

2.10 (traded this pick and Pierre Thomas last year for Miles Austin)

3.10 Vincent Brown, WR, SD (felt he was good value here, so I bought)

4.10 Colin Kaepernick, QB, SF (Didn't need a QB as I have Rivers, Flacco, and Bradford. This was BPA/trade stash move)

5.10 Jordan Cameron, TE, Bal (Need a 3rd TE as Carlson seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. Have VD and Hernandez)

6.10 Bilal Powell, RB, NYJ (Flier - would rather carrry him than Scott or Ringer at this point)

7.10 Denarius Moore, WR, Oak (I have Ford, but will look to package him up and keep Moore)

We drafted with rosters in-tact, so I'll need to cut 6 guys in two weeks... that will be tough...

16 team, .5 PPR, IDP

1.09 (9) - Daniel Thomas (I assumed I would be going WR here, but Thomas fell in my lap)

2.09 (25) - Christian Ponder (I am having a little buyer's remorse. It was between him and Powell here, and Powell went shortly before my 3rd pick)

3.09 (41) - Nate Irving

1.02 R.Williams-RB auctioned for $50.00 to Marauders.

1.04 J.Jones-WR auctioned for $40.00 to Marauders.

1.08 G.Little-WR auctioned for $29.00 to Marauders.

2.02(3-way tie*) G.Salas-WR auctioned for $10.00 to Marauders.

*Cam Newton and Jon Baldwin went for the same price as Salas.

The draft spots are actually not real. They are instead an equivalent based upon how much players went for in our rookie auction. The most expensive player being 1.01 and least expensive player being 2.10.

WR and QB prices are a bit suppressed in our contract league as we have a rule where players going into year 4 essentially get re-auctioned similar to the NFL's RFA process. Since QB's and WR's tend to develop slower, their initial price tends to lag behind RB's.
