Pre 1 DAL @ SEA (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys,

Preseason is one time of the year when TV access to games is very limited. But most games are shown in their local markets.

If you can watch a preseason game, you can be a hero for the board and let us know what you see.

Please Note: Assume with these preseason game threads that the other people in the thread aren't watching the game. Normally, these threads are full of "nice catch" posts and that's cool because everyone is watching and everyone knows what you mean. But for these, please tell us more specifically what you're seeing as if we can't see the game.

Please focus on the things that won't show up in the box score.

- who got time with the starters

- how they looked

- body language on the sidelines

That kind of stuff. Basically, post the kind of stuff you'd like to know about a game that you are not able to watch.

Thanks.

J

I know it's only pre season, but nice to see Alexander lay down on every play that they hand the ball to him. I forgot about S Mike Brown being added, that gives us good depth. The defense is looking to take peoples heads off.

Tony Romo starting for the Cowboys... he looks mobile and his throws look crisp

I think Romo looks very good. Hurd looks good. Of the offensive players, Hurd, Glenn, and Witten getting open and Romo getting it to them. Julius, whether because of him or the OLine, looks very average, imo

Romo does look good, great feet... creating alot on his own. On Jones, the Oline doesnt appear to be given him any running lanes.

SEA secondary looks good... some big hits already on J Jones and Whitten
They seem to be picking on Herndon, can't wait to see what Jennings does.
I got this Huddle coverage. What about Hamlin? Any sighting?
Hamlin started he looks good, dosen't look gun shy. Romo is not evn looking on Trufants/Hamlin's side. Tatupu released a little early, Brown picked up late, Crayton scored.
They showed the hightlight. Great to hear Hamlin is in. If you can, just remark on any play involving Hamlin good, bad, or otherwise. I'll check it out tomorrow.

What coverage? They stayed on the Chargers game for a friggin ref injury and challenge. They cut away from the Hawk game to show Vince Young get hurt 18 times. Big  for their "coverage".

Boring game... niether team can run... no passes over 10 yards and alot of penalties. Looks kinda like a first pre-season game :)

Sam Hurd is playing pretty good. I think he might push Crayton if something happened to TO/Glenn.

Great catch by Crayton. Will be on sportscenter

Great catch by Crayton down the sideline over Jennings, well covered Jennings just didnt look back for the ball. 33yd gain.

While there are no running lanes for Dallas... they are giving Romo good time to throw. inside the 20 Romo 12 for his last 12

Guys, Romo looks great. Also, MB3 is doing a good job pass blocking. MB3 stuffed in the hole and bounced out for loss

MB3 on a draw on 3rd down. so, the yardage is deceptive (7 yds) on 3rd and 10

Mann played for Nevada.

2004: Signed to Miami's active roster from Cincinnati's practice squad November 19. Declared inactive for seven games.

Pro:

Signed to Seattle's practice squad November 9, 2005. Originally a fifth round pick (149th overall) by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2004 NFL Draft. Released after camp but signed to the Bengals practice squad September 7, 2004. Signed to Miami's active roster November 19.

Jerry Jones interviewed now saying that Bledsoe is direction want to go. But,"if the OLine is allowinf jail breaks, then the quickness of Romo ..."

"TO wants to play, naturally, but we are trying to be cautious ... not worth the risk. Not of an issue of TO playing with pain, but one of us getting him well".

Romo was impressive, if this game was to showcase him for a trade then he did alot for his value. I can easily see this guy as a starting QB in the NFL someday soon.

It appears, at least early on, the moves Dallas made to improve to O-line in the offseson have not panned out thus far.

Hurd and Crayton impressive

also, the dallas announcers are talking a lot about Greg Ellis, how he is not happy adjusting to new position, etc
