Hey Guys,

Preseason is one time of the year when TV access to games is very limited. But most games are shown in their local markets.

If you can watch a preseason game, you can be a hero for the board and let us know what you see.

Please Note: Assume with these preseason game threads that the other people in the thread aren't watching the game. Normally, these threads are full of "nice catch" posts and that's cool because everyone is watching and everyone knows what you mean. But for these, please tell us more specifically what you're seeing as if we can't see the game.

Please focus on the things that won't show up in the box score.

- who got time with the starters

- how they looked

- body language on the sidelines

That kind of stuff. Basically, post the kind of stuff you'd like to know about a game that you are not able to watch.

JAx didn't look real good on 1st drive. Taylor ran for 1 yard. Wilford dropped a catchable ball, he actually popped it into the air which could be worse than a drop. Then Leftwich hit the TE for a short 5 yards. Topped it off with a poor punt.

Brown has run 3 straight for 10 yards for Miami. Last on right into the D line and pounded his way for about 3.

Thats the first couple of snaps he's had for a while - let him drop a little rust before you get too hard on him.IMO His conditioning looks good, timing is a little off. He's just drilling his receivers on the slants, not really leading them to the open areas. Receivers all got hit right after the catch (hmm, Minnesota sans Randy anyone...). I'm not sold on Dante either, but its still early. I want to see him get in the flow a bit, maybe even a few games.

Byrons for chosing to throw that way. He was being pressured by Thomas and pushed to the ground. He would've been better off throwing the ball away. He didn't do a good job of reading the defense on that play.

Taylor is in, but I just havent seen that "wow" running style i usually see from him. Seems sluggish.

Fins D Line was all over Leftowich - caved O-line and forced an interception. Dolphin Defense looks very good, and the 1st round rookie DB isnt even playing yet.

Quick strike to Randy McMichael for the TD from Harrington (Culpepper is out). Just a throw over the middle that RM used his body to position for.

Zach hurried him and the safety made a good play on the ball to deflect it to the CB.More of a good defensive play than a bad throw.

He does look svelte and suave - Again its only the first preseason game, but........so far I havent seen the lateral movement out of Taylor (he has shown some straight ahead speed on a screen). I'm not sure Taylor is 100%The Jags D is playing without blitzing and are doing alright. Im surprised at how often the D-Line is pressuring the Fins QBs without any speed rushers.Dolphins are consistently mixing in blitzing (1 or 2 people) - stats on this game are going to look skewed.

22 yard screen pass to Fred Taylor. He actually looked good there.

Incomopletely pass to Matt Jones. It was his fault as he might've been scared of Zach Thomas.

Pass Interference on a Miami CB as the pass was being thrown to Reggie Williams. Zach Thomas was blizing on the play and laid a nice low hit on Byron.

Sack for Miami for a small lost by Kevin Carter and some other guy.

Taylor for a nice run of 5 yards up the middle.

3rd and 10.

The Dolphins have extremely attractive cheerleader. BRB.

Shotgun pass. Too far behind to a wide open Wilford. Again, Byron felt the pass rush. Byron has no desire to get out of the pocket.

Jax D is just eating up the short slant patterns - they have been jumping them all night. Guess without blitzing they can pick that up with zones....

Sammy Morris appears to be the #2. He looks bigger than I've ever seen him and is running somewhat fluidly. I want to see more here also but this could be a nice handcuff.
