Maybe you're thinking of another route. A post route is run towards the post, which used to be right in the center of the endzone.

That is how it was initially designed. Competent coaches have adapted to have their QBs throw it out in front though since it's about a gajillion times more successful against man coverage.
 
Keeping them in it not even trying for a TD on that gimme drive. Bootleg play was a waste.

Ravens are gonna get waxed next week.

 
Boring but safe call on 3rd down, after that bizarre rollout on 2nd down. Don't let Flacco give it away. Take the 3 and let your defense continue to hold the lead.

 
I was totally surprised to hear the boo birds out in Foxboro as early as the first quarter. I don't care how bad your team is playing today, a true fan doesn't start booing a team that has given you a decade's worth of successes. :thumbup:

Welcome to your first NFL game. :lmao: If you continute to watch you'll probably notice that fans have a very short sense of history. Keep the phrase 'what have you done for me lately' in mind at all times.
 
Time to dial up one of those nine minute drives the Ratbirds used to clinch games with last year. Three and outs aren't gonna cut in the fourth quarter. Tom Brady CAN score twice, no matter how badly he's played to this point.

:goodposting: This drive is huge. If they can kill some clock and get another score here, even just a FG, they will have put a halt on the momentum NE grabbed with that touchdown.
