Romney needed a good night tonight because the second debate will include foreign policy and the third debate is solely about foreign policy. It may be tough for Romney to speak with much authority on foreign policy issues.
When every play is working, why get tricky?I guess Romney was holding back the really good Zingers for the other debates. Kind of like a CFB team that doesn't show more than what is needed to just win the game.
"Whatcha readin' from the teleprompter for?"The next debate in in Danville KY? Is it being held at the VFW or the Waffle House?
Yup. Watched all of it. Mostly a huge snooze fest. Couldn't get excited about either. MY GUY DOMINATED YOUR GUYNot watching the last half of this thing but still following this thread was pretty entertaining. Most of these debates are fairly even, maybe a couple of moments that make the news cycle going forward and a whole lot of emptiness. Still, some people are claiming huge wins for their side or hoping these thing shift public opinion in their favor. It's like a lacrosse game with a fight in the stands, the fight in the stands is always more entertaining than the game.

Exactly what I was thinking. You have to think the prez has a huge advantage on those topics. That will be interesting.Uhhh... because he's a politician. Is this a trick question?I just don't get how Romney can say with a straight face he will end Obamacare and replace it with what he did in Massachusetts. It's the same plan!
Do tell.:worstkeptsecret:I've been hesitating on my support for Romney but he's really selling me tonight. He's hit on nearly all the main reasons that I supported him over Obama in the first place. I'm feeling much better about him,
that's a good thingpretty sure Chris Matthews didn't have the tingle up his leg tonightEd shultz is upset
My wife asked me why Mitt had a moony weird smile on his face and gazed lovingly at Obama the whole debate.I'm watching on CNN with the split screen and Mitt looks non-presidential when he's not speaking. The look on his face is annoying.Obama is best when he runs out the clock! I guess when you are winning you just let Romney punch himself out.He must have campaign managers that worked on that. He's probably trying to look respectful, but it comes across as a forced smirk.
That's how you know it was a bad night for ObamaMSNBC praising Romney and saying how disappointed they were in Obama... didnt expect that
Was he this bad 4 years ago? Without the teleprompter he is lost.Obama should not debate anymore. This was a disaster.Obama sounds like a beaten man.Someone forgot to tell him he was in the lead before this.
Took Sharpton all of 30 seconds to tie it to raceEd Schultz on MSNBC calling the debate for Romney, wow
no its not.I just don't get how Romney can say with a straight face he will end Obamacare and replace it with what he did in Massachusetts. It's the same plan!
Don't forget though- not nearly as many people will watch any of the other debates.Romney needed a good night tonight because the second debate will include foreign policy and the third debate is solely about foreign policy. It may be tough for Romney to speak with much authority on foreign policy issues.Exactly what I was thinking. You have to think the prez has a huge advantage on those topics. Cuz its always nice to smileMy wife asked me why Mitt had a moony weird smile on his face and gazed lovingly at Obama the whole debate.I'm watching on CNN with the split screen and Mitt looks non-presidential when he's not speaking. It's easy to blame the guy in charge. Remember Kerry did well in debates also. Was he this bad 4 years ago? Without the teleprompter he is lost.Obama should not debate anymore. This was a disaster.Obama sounds like a beaten man.Someone forgot to tell him he was in the lead before this.
Everyone thinks Romney won this night. There's really no other way to spin it. It would be ludicrous to try. This just in...Fox News thought Romney won, CNN also thought Romney scored well...uh oh.
Neither? It's not as simple as let it pop or keep inflating it. Which side do you think would do a better job of slowly letting the air out?So just to be clear: are both of you proposing a further inflation of a bubble? The inevitable outcome will be to create another Rome. That's the reality that noone wants to acknowledge. The past 60 years of prosperity were a bubble that was funded by the Federal Government. So you think that if we hadn't fought WWII the economy the past 65+ years would be exactly the same?He literally just doesn't get it. You can't create jobs for the long-haul by spending taxpayer money. It makes zero sense.
he's flummoxedJames Carville nuclear explosion defending Obama in 3...2...1...
This can't be. The FFA Elephants were all geared up about how the Liberal Media Conspiracy was going to declare Obama the winner no matter what. What's going to feed their persecution complex now?CNN giving it to Romney as a unanimous decision. Bad night for Obama
Remember Kerry prepped ObamaIt's easy to blame the guy in charge. Remember Kerry did well in debates also. Was he this bad 4 years ago? That man should be tortured by Dexter.Took Sharpton all of 30 seconds to tie it to raceEd Schultz on MSNBC calling the debate for Romney, wow
You must not have got the FBG memo that it's all just preferential bias. That's how you know it was a bad night for ObamaMSNBC praising Romney and saying how disappointed they were in Obama... didnt expect that
Was he eating sandwiches for the first 28?Took Sharpton all of 30 seconds to tie it to raceEd Schultz on MSNBC calling the debate for Romney, wow
