Prime Thursday**Eagles (7-0) at Texans (1-5-1)** (+14) (45.5) (1 Viewer)

Funniest post in a while. Kudos.

I will never not appreciate that because I remember back in tenth grade there was this girl (who we all thought was hot) and her boyfriend had broken up with her. She was crying and wanted to go to the medical cllinic but insisted through sobs that she couldn't because what was she going to tell them? That her heart hurt? "I can't go to the clinic with a broken heart."

It reminds me of that comment. I'll always think about mental anguish and physical distress (the two are indeed interlinked) because of that moment and every time I see a study that says that mental anguish actually causes physical effects, I think of her, bawling to the world.

It was one of the sadder yet funnier and more memorable moments of my life, and I'll probably never forget it.

Anyway, that's not with too much pathos. ****'s funny.

Going to slid a WDIS type of question here, please forgive me.

I'm not usually a two team D carry guy but find myself with a lot of Philly/NE Team D's on the same team so of course find myself wondering which one to start.

My real question is if Cooks/Collins should be considered a negative or a positive to Eagles D for fantasy purposes? Obviously it makes scoring more difficult but I'm more interested in sacks and turnovers. We often see these Thursday night game plans lean conservative with a normal set of WR's and my concern is the Texans are going to just turtle up, run it death and run clock and just try and keep it respectable and move on to week 10. Meaning to say they might be like Falcons from a few weeks ago where they are getting clobered and just sticking to the run and trying to get out of the game. Am I wrong to think this way?

I don't know. I think all you can do is get the thought process as far as it will take you. I think you've done that. The rest is sort of a coin flip. I'd lean New England simply because of Ehlinger and that Taylor hasn't practiced, but the Patriots also take the air out of the ball and that may encourage the Colts, with a rookie QB and possibly undrafted RB as starter, to do the same.

Look at the seasonal points given up by the offenses and you'll have a good idea of where they stand. Problem is, tonight and this weekend are unique in that it's a Thursday and Ehlinger only has one start to his name.

Really? He had one down game. One.

He's only had over six targets once all year. He's averaging about six for the year. That' s TE10.

It's actually TE11.

So, no, not so compelling.
He's 8th is PPG for tight end.
They have not really had to throw in 2nd halves of games yet.
Unless you are rolling out the few top tight end, pretty sure Goedert is an obvious start
i think Goedert does well tonight. same with DeVonta

Not really that obvious if he's TE8. The only really obvious starts at TE are Kelce and Andrews. After that, there's a crush of guys all with 9-12 PPG. If you had Evan Engram, who is behind Goedert in PPG by about one point, are you rolling with him or Goedert based on weekly trends?

Probably Engram.

Goedert or Kyle Pitts?

Probably Pitts given his usage uptick recently.

I don't know. It's just not a set and forget thing, starting Goedert. You're probably starting him, but it's not as obvious as you were first declaring.

Eagles have been marginal in the first quarter all year. Guess the trend could continue tonight
