Pumpkin: The King of Baked Goods (1 Viewer)

Yeah - this stuff is pretty gross.  I may give it one last try this year but I'm thinking pumpkin beer may just suck.
I'll grab a 22oz of Southern Tier Pumking if I run across it to see if it's regained its glory. But I'm not going out of my way to do it. Been disappointing the last 2-3 years.

Had the classic pumking ale infused with cold brew coffee last weekend. If you're a fan of pumpkin and coffee you gotta pick this up.

pumpkin is like the fat kid wallflower who stands over on the side just hoping that prom queen apple will look at him but apple ends up going home with the old swcer in his 75 charger while pumpkin well maybe if hes lucky he picks up potatoe at bar time take that to the bank bromigos

***OFFICIAL*** Ranking:

1. Pumpkin Pie

2. Pumpkin Bread

3. Pumpkin Donuts/Muffins

4. Pumpkin Cookies (preferably with walnuts and chocolate chips)

Wow wrong
Pumpkin pie is the red-headed stepchild of pies. Even if Thomas Keller made a handmade pumpkin pie, using heirloom pumpkins from the Alsace, allspice berries hand-harvested under a blood moon in Jamaica and a crust made from the cold-rendered fat of prize Kobe steer, the jump in quality from a sad sack, store bought monstrosity would be minimal. Pumpkin pie is less a baked treat than a placeholder for some ideal. Its like when you’re eating pumpkin pie, you’re really wishing you were eating pie.

Sweet potato is the king of pies. With bourbon glazed pecans. Pronounced pe-cahns, too. Not pee-cans, like a rube.

Found a bottle a few weeks ago and decided to have a little Halloween celebration. I'd give it a B+

Apple pie is the king. Pumpkin pie is the jester's assistant with a club foot and a hump.
Great apple pie is definitely better than pumpkin pie. But great apple pie is really hard to come by. 95% of apple pies are terrible. Pumpkin pie is hard to mess up.
